I purchased a coffee and had an urgent emergency situation and simply requested of I could make a quick call since I’d LOST my phone. Instead of showing any basic kindness, the baristas questioned and discussed it loudly in front of everyone. One of them even yelled publically (yes, literally yelled) that the phone was “only for real emergencies.”
This could’ve easily been handled politely and respectfully, but the baristas were rude, loud, and completely unhinged. Pathetic.
This location (and staff) should be ashamed of how they treat customers in distress.
Absolutely disgusting & horrid experience.

Their espresso drinks are so bitter! Might as well try a different local coffee shop nearby for quality coffee.

One of my favorite Starbucks locations in the city. I’ve been coming here regularly and have tried a range of drinks—brewed coffee (hot and cold) and various seasonal options—and they consistently hit the mark. Quality is reliable, drinks are served at the right temperature, and everything tastes fresh.
What really sets this place apart is the staff. They’re genuinely friendly, greet you warmly, and always make the interaction pleasant. It’s a great vibe all around.
The environment is clean and welcoming. My only wish is for more indoor seating—it’s a busy area and this location deserves a bit more space to sit and relax. That said, I’ll definitely keep coming back and would recommend it to anyone in the area.

Honestly disgusted at my experience in Starbucks today! It’s 40° with the humidex, we are in a heat wave in Toronto and I went into this location to ask for a cup of water and can you imagine that the cashier told me that he can’t give me a cup of water without me buying something? That’s honestly disgusting And the corporation should be ashamed. I don’t care what your policies are. It’s a hot day and we’re in a heat wave!! As I was leaving, I also spoke to two girls who had two dogs, and they were also denied water… how inhumane!!!

I’ve been a regular customer at this Starbucks location for a long time and usually enjoy my visits. However, during a recent visit, I had a disappointing experience. I was in a hurry on my way to a workout and simply asked for a cup of water. To my surprise, the staff member refused — not just the refusal itself, but the way it was handled felt unnecessarily rude and loud, especially in front of others.
I understand policies may vary, but a little courtesy goes a long way — especially when addressing someone who frequents your store. It’s not about the water, it’s about the tone and attitude. This experience has made me reconsider where I spend my money, and I’ll likely be supporting local cafés moving forward, where customer service feels more personal and respectful.

Why are the baked goods always stale?
Every time I entered this store, staff are very friendly and attentive. This store has a couple seats and can get lots of natural light.
I think this store has the most varieties of merch selections in other Starbucks. Holiday merch looks amazing, so it was so hard for me to choose.

There were 5 people working and only 1 other customer already waiting for their orders to be made before me. The 2 baristas making the coffees were so busy talking to that customer, whom I'm assuming is a friend, that they fully stopped everything else they were doing. I watched as they put my order sticker on the cup and then just stood there and talked while I waited. Eventually they asked if I was waiting for something and I said my drink. Seems they remembered they had my cup in their hands after that and made it in less than 2 minutes
