The exterior of Stefano’s is very unassuming and we almost walked by before noticing “plant forward” on the door. Delicious vegan brunch or lunch spot, with great service and a comfortable atmosphere! I could easily see becoming a regular.

solid plant-based comfort meal! 🌱🍰 The vegan chicken sandwich was flavorful and satisfying, though a bit standard, and the tiramisu was creamy, sweet, and a perfect ending, small portion though

I recently visited Stefano's Diner for the first time, after reading that it was one of the best vegan restaurants in the city, and it didn't disappoint. I’ve never eaten a breakfast sandwich before because they don’t look that good to me. However, after reading the ingredients for the All Day Breakfast Sandwich, I want to try it. OMG! So good. I’m happy I found this plant-based restaurant. Now, I don’t need to go to a vegetarian or vegan-friendly restaurant where there are only a couple of items for me that aren’t that good. I look forward to going back soon. Super recommended.

Best vegan restaurant I have tried so far in Toronto. Stefano's has delicious sandwiches with a classic taste. It's reasonably priced for a sit-down Italian place in the area (i.e., a stretch for most normal budgets), but, unlike many other places, worth the price.

Atmosphere and design was great. The service was quick and friendly. The food was absolutely delicious. My only concern was the Italian sub. Although it was super tasty, paying $18 for a sub the size of a hot dog bun just didn’t feel worth it to me. Definitely going back to try the rest of the menu but I just can’t wrap my head around the sub pricing.

Excellent menu items. Most options were vegan takes on meat dishes such as meatballs, salmon and chicken. It would be excellent to see more internationally sourced dishes that have non-imitation vegan bases. Service is excellent, as is the quality of food.

I finally had the chance to visit Stefano's. A friend and I shared the spicy chicken sandwich and the muffuletta. The former was incredible with just the right amount of spice. The latter was excellent (I need to source some of those Nonno's cold cuts for making sandwiches at home!) except it needed more olive salad to rival the non-vegan versions made famous in New Orleans. My other friend had the eggplant sandwich and said it was delicious and filling. We shared the shishito peppers for an app (not bad, but I don't think the dip did anything for them) as well as the tiramisu for dessert (it was my first time having a biscoff-type tiramisu and I quite enjoyed it.) Service was friendly and efficient, cocktails were good and the atmosphere was nice, if not a little noisy. Long story short, I'll be back soon!

I ordered the eggs in purgatory with a side arugula salad. The eggs in purgatory also came with a side of bread. The tomato sauce was pretty good, but nothing really wowed me. I might come back to try more of their menu with my partner who likes Italian food.

The racist people especially the bar down of the restaurant I faced racism, there.
They like you, if you are Asian, otherwise they don't care about you. I have video proving how they treat me. Even though that I paid
For the bar there, the entry club. And they kicked me out without I do anything because there is a racist person didn't like me.And they kicked me out for him. This is the type of people you are supporting their business. I have asked the manager ito talk with he hide himself in the club that's my experience just for you and if information this thing happened today if that is separate facilityGive me the name of the bar because they share the same address with you.Thank you

I loved Stefano’s. I took myself on a solo date and ordered the lasagne and mozzarella sticks. The lasagne was so good, so many layers! Really lively atmosphere and would deffo recommend dates here.

Amazing!!! The best vegan spot in the city. I've only had the sandwich, but my non-vegan friends tried the lasagna and said it was really good. This will become a go-to spot. It's also v cute inside :)

Kylie was so great! Our first time visiting Toronto (from Dallas Texas) and wanted to try a Vegan restaurant.

Wow, such a warm greeting from Kylie when entering the restaurant. She made several recommendations based on my interest. We wanted to try food items that we don’t typically run across in a vegan restaurant. The Muffuletta was unique for us and it definitely a sandwich I recommend. What makes the meatball special was the spiciness. It wasn’t too much heat, it was just the right amount, not to burn your mouth like some spicy foods. The ARUGULA salad was good too, the Dijon dressing paired well with items on the salad.

The Muffuletta and Meatball sandwich both tasted great! The diner seemed quite cozy, not too crowded (like some places), seating was spaced appropriately. And I appreciated the washroom being clean.

I greatly appreciated Kylie’s help and kindness. The other workers were friendly also. Thanks for helping to make our first Vegan food experience in Toronto a great one!
