We absolutely loved our visit to STK! Our server took such great, personable care of us, and the food was delicious. We enjoyed brunch with our kids, who live in Toronto, before we headed out of town. STK was kind enough to hold onto our bags while we dined. The bartender served us at our table, and he understood us fantastically. He knew exactly how we wanted to be treated well and was wonderfully successful in its execution. We're frequent dining guests of several STK locations (Las Vegas, Orlando, SF...) and they are all popular locations, crowded with many dining guests. We have always had a great dining experience, from food, ambiance and service. We thought we would try out STK Toronto as we're visiting for the week. To our surprise, it's a much quieter, slower paced location. But who knew it was really, really slow. Food took almost an hour to come out and when it did most of the food was luke warm with exception to the chicken that was piping hot. Our waiter asked how the food was and we casually smiled and said it was fine as we didn't want to send them back in case something else would be done to the food... we know better! Manager Brett and our waiter did try to make it right by offering to comp our desserts... but guess what... we waited almost as long as the food. As we were tired of waiting for the desserts, we decided to call it quits and requested our check. The check came out fast and somehow the desserts finally made its way out... not really sure why service was so slow for us and we wondered if other guests experience was similar to ours. While processing our check, the manager and waiter did try to apologize again for our dining experience... somehow they lost out ticket (twice?) Not sure if this was a one-off or occurs on a regular basis... tbh we did not expect this from STK.

The food wasn't very good for me. The Australian wagu stake and sweet corn was 2 at best. Even after telling the waiter I didn't like the side dish,all he tried doing was convincing me to eat it and nothing about my concerns, which was horrible. I have had better stake. The service and food needs an upgrade

We recently had dinner reservation at STK (May 31st) with a large party, taking up two full booths split by two, and the overall ambiance was beautiful and the dj was amazing. Our server was named Colina was absolutely phenomenal. She was bubbly , professional, and knowledgeable about the entire menu. She went above and beyond to make sure our group was taken care of. With that said, there were a couple of unfortunate moments. While we were celebrating and taking photos with a small portable light, a manager abruptly told us to “turn off the light.” There was no explanation at all. We were unaware of any policy regarding lighting, and the way it was communicated felt disrespectful. Our group complied immediately, but the interaction left us with a negative impression. The food itself was amazing 8/10 on taste and presentation. However, two of us found long strands of hair in our dishes. Fortunately, Colina witnessed this and quickly notified the manager. He apologized and assured us that all kitchen staff wear hair coverings. He offered to replace the meals, but we had lost our appetite by that point. While STK is clearly a high end restaurant with great food and an amazing server, the interaction with the manager mainly and the tone of his approach had made us feel unwelcome . I don’t want to make assumptions, but as a Black group, we didn’t quite feel the warmth or hospitality we expected. Despite those issues, we did enjoy our night . A little more sensitivity and inclusiveness from management would have made this a lot better.

I had a great experience at this restaurant! The food was delicious, especially the [insert dish you liked], and the atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. What really made the visit special was the service. Our waiter, Desrdely, was incredibly kind, attentive, and professional. He made sure we had everything we needed and gave us great recommendations. You can tell he really cares about giving guests a good experience. I would definitely come back, and I hope Desrdely is our server again next time!

We booked the private room for a bachelorette. The waitress was amazing her name was Michelle she was so accommodating. Those that work in corporate owe an apology to their employees. We booked a private room with a separate menu and none of that was communicated to the restaurant. They did their best to accommodate us and we are so grateful. Very dead atmosphere for a Sunday brunch there was almost no one in the restaurant.
