Rude hostess and manager twice have been there. The first the two female hostess were dreadful. placed me and my guests at the worst table. Never going there again obnoxious, rude, and downright arrogant! There are plenty of other restaurants to choose from in Toronto.

The $26 cheese appetizer was the highlight of the evening — mainly because it felt like a practical joke. The pasta was “savoury” in the same way warm water is exciting: technically fine, emotionally empty. My ribeye was completely tasteless. I tried to revive it with peppercorn sauce like a culinary defibrillator, but the patient was already gone. Time of death: first bite. As for the seating — they use suspension chairs designed by someone who clearly hates hips and circulation. Sit too long and you'll lose feeling in your lower body and possibly your will to live. Overall, this place feels like a high-end chicken coop charging luxury prices for mediocrity. Do yourself a favour: eat literally anywhere else.

I had the tuna salad and it was amazing for lunch. The salad dressing is one of the best that I've ever had. Pair it with a beautiful white wine and you have the perfect lunch!

Sunday dinner with friends, had the veggie pizza. Proportions were all wrong, soggy and unappetizing. Friends had the Sunday roast which was decent but not amazing. Service was a bit strange, not attentive at all, when he did come by he wouldn’t wait for us to answer before he flitted away. Ambience is nice but with the food and service why would anyone go back?

Full on contrary to my expectations, not even a single dish was up to the mark and standards. Almost every dish was loaded with salt, calamari was oil drenched and pasta undercooked…. not al Dante, but undercooked. And we were so done, that we dropped the idea of dessert.

Loved this place—totally hip and at a great price point. The waiter was friendly and efficient, the bar area is super cool, and even the bathroom alone deserves a design award. We ordered pub-style food and it was good. For the price I was really happy and felt like I’d had a proper night out. Big thanks to the staff and chefs for a lovely evening!

I went to stock bar today and it was one of the worst dining experiences ever. I've been in the past for a drink or dessert and they've been good and the bartenders have been nice. But today I went for dinner with my family and it was really awful. The atmosphere was good, but every dish we ordered came out extremely salty, or not cooked properly. We ordered the norcina pasta which was extremely salty, so was the truffle chicken, and the French onion soup. The fries were over done, and the calamari was really oily and chewy. We complained about the chicken after receiving two already really salty dishes, and they replaced it but when we asked for the gravy to be added on the side, they said that was not possible. So they cooked us another chicken, which was well cooked, but was basically a chicken with salt and pepper and not worth the money at all. Although the servers and the host were kind enough to offer to re-do the dishes, they did not even apologise once for the inconvenience. The server even acted as if it was our problem that we were pointing out the saltiness of each dish. I usually eat very salty foods, and it was extremely for me. I did not appreciate being made to feel like it was our fault. In summary, I would not go there again for food.
