I had the 3 cup Taiwanese chicken. It was served by a young girl who was attentive and accommodating. It's a really convenient place to grab all of your Taiwanese food cravings. The 3 Cup Chicken was very flavorful, and came with plenty of sauce which I highly appreciated. Everything was fresh and clean, from the chicken, the veggies, as well as the tea marinated egg. Portion was just right as well. I'd definitely come back here and try their other dishes, including the desserts.

I typically go to the one in Markham and decided to try this one while in Chinatown. Matcha shaved ice with red bean and the grass jelly mango sago were excellent for palate cleansing after a moderately heavy Chinese lunch😂😂

If I could give zero stars, I would.

I ordered the papaya white fungus dessert, and it smelled awful—like dirty cloths with a musty, moldy undertone. Completely inedible.

My friend ordered a cake, and it was rock solid. So frozen that a metal spoon couldn’t even cut through it. We had to wait nearly an hour for it to defrost. It did taste good in the end, but it’s ridiculous to serve something that’s not ready to eat.

If you’re thinking of ordering that cake, call them at least 30 minutes in advance so they can take it out of the freezer beforehand.

The food is good and the staffs are very friendly. Highly recommended

Last time when we were in this place it was way more better. We took 2 different bingsu and they were so watering, tasteless, especially bubble tea one. And the worst part of this place are cleanliness and smell. The menu and table were greasy and the place smelled of stale and old cooking oil. If you want to try Asian desserts, choose another cafe.

The best mango sago ever

I got the matcha parfait and matcha bingsu, it was really good and worth the price.

The shaved ice is my go to!! I’ve got the strawberry one recently and it was my favourite out of all I tried. However, the shaved ice is definitely on the more dense and icy side rather and fluffy. I also tried the matcha shaved ice one time and it was good, but bitter for some reason. If you’re thinking about getting any toppings, make sure it’s the pearl delights😍 and remember to bring cash for a discount

Awesome services and great food

Absolutely the best shaved ice in the game. Matcha was very strong and flavourful and so was the strawberry and mango. Really delicious and fresh toppings, they nailed the texture. Highly recommend!

Before I start my whole review, there was a cockroach sitting beside me on the booth WHICH I only noticed when I was leaving the restaurant! So nasty! Paid so much for the condensed milk toast for it to have barely any but thankfully they gave me more on the side. I liked the dessert bowl but the only thing I could not get is WHY they would give me a flat container to go to bring my liquid dessert home!!! They said it's the right container when I asked for the other one and it spilled on the way home!

Sugar Marmalade in Toronto is a grade spot to try shaved ice. They variety of toppings, and different flavours you can chose from. We picked mango with mango chucks and tapioca. The portion sizes are generous, making it a great value. 1 order is definitely enough for 2 people.
