Awesome italian food. The service is excellent. I would definitely recommend to have their rigatoni with chicken cutlet, it is amazing.

Fast service and good food. Been there twice, had the pasta and the chicken parm first time, and pizza the second time. Everything is fresh and tastes good.

The food is good, but each dish is very much one note and, between the three dishes we ordered, each note was pretty similar.
Positive: Gnocchi had a nice texture. Rigatoni was cooked well to aldante. Cocktails were great. I highly recommend the margarita, but the espresso martini was a close second.
Service was efficient.
We ate on the west side of the sidewalk patio, which was a challenge on account of the sun.
If you like good cocktails and simple pasta dishes, then you'll love Sugo.

Honestly it was just okay. Nothing popped, for us. We got the pesto pasta, calamari, tiramisu. The tiramisu was sour! We both found it weird.
Rude phone staff acting like this is a double Michelin stars

Small restaurant so it fills up quickly. They don't take reservations. Food is great. The pasta is a little too al dente for me but still delicious. It cam get loud because the place is small. Patio is nice but there isn't much seating available.

We had an unpleasant experience here. They are first come first serve, so we gave our name and number and as the wait was 1hour we founded another good Italian restaurant nearby. By the time they called us we asked if we can just have desserts there and they said yes. The gentleman at the house greeted us, we again mentioned that we’ll only have desserts and he was cool.
But the lady who served us was very rude and arrogant. She started by “just tiramisu guys? Wow” and went away. Then she again rudely asked if we are done and grabbed the plates harshly.
If they were not okay, they should have told us as we asked several times.

I truly enjoyed my meal. Tried the salad, pepperonata pizza, gnocchi and the eggplant parmigiana. The sugo is truly amazing. Great attentive server. Even met the owner who was friendly and engaging with his customers. True passion.
