I had samosa and chicken biryani, it was delicious

The quality of the food was highly disappointing. The chicken dish was served with completely undercooked meat, posing a significant health risk and raising serious concerns about potential food poisoning. Furthermore, the establishment lacked proper hygiene standards, as the kitchen equipment appeared visibly unsanitary during food preparation.

In addition, the advertised 10% discount for cash payments was not honored, which reflects poorly on the integrity of the business. Based on this experience, I cannot, in good conscience, recommend this place to anyone.

I’ve been going to this spot for their lunch special for years.

If you pay in cash, it’s only $11! They give you so much food! There’s no better deal downtown.

I was at this restaurant earlier today, and I had a very unpleasant experience with the cashier. He has dark skin and was extremely rude. If you don’t leave a tip, he becomes even more rude. I’m not sure who owns the restaurant, but I would recommend reviewing the footage from your security cameras to see his behavior. It’s disappointing to see poor management allow such rude behavior from staff

Got a large takeout order of chicken biryani. The owner is welcoming and ensured that every order is made fresh.

The biryani was flavourful with a decent amount of boneless chicken in the rice. It was served with a side of yogurt. A big box for 12 bucks cash was a great deal.

The store is a small place with 3-4 tables. There was a group of 3 dining in. The store is pretty dark, not really an appealing place to eat but the food is good. Probably the best you can get in downtown Toronto.

What a great Indian restaurant! We were looking for a gluten-free friendly restaurant and they were very accommodating. Most of their dishes are naturally gluten free and their server was helpful with the menu options. We had chicken biryani, chicken bhula, onion bhajis, papadums, and garlic Naan (for my non-gf husband). It was all excellent!

Dietary restrictions: They were able to point out the few dishes that would not be gluten free, which left most of the menu as gluten free options!

The best food in Toronto! Love every bite. I recommend three veg rice and some naan. Wash it down with a freshly made mango lassi and you won’t be disappointed! Happy Diwali 🪔!

Found this place randomly on my search for Biriyani in downtown. The chicken biriyani was flavourful and good. The dine in space may feel a bit congested but works. The service was good.

Good option for Indian non veg cuisine. Rates are affordable compared to other Indian restaurants nearby. Owner seems tense always and do not prefer to talk with customers. Taste of food is above average. Quantity of food is good as compared to prices. Very close to Yonge and Bloor subway. Prices for lunch and dinner are different (lunch is less a dollar or two than dinner) .
