We love Sunnyside Grill. The owner of this location is almost always there and is super friendly. Service is good by young people who actually care. Food is well done and had all the basic breakfast and lunch fare you would expect with a good diner experience. The cereal box wall display is a fun addition to the Sunnyside experience.

Today is our first visit.
The service was good and the price point with the quality was good. The only drawback was their system of waiting in line and confirming payment of the bill. One of the servers, she assumed that we jumped the queue looking at our ethnicity. We told her that we didn’t as we were the first in line, and nobody was mending the queue at that time. She tried to blame it on the most efficient and attentive server ie he was the one who took our order and payment went through well. When we asked for a receipt, the other server had to clear up with management when we showed her the payment went through from our Mastercard and our bank app had shown proof. We tipped 25% to the server, he was efficient and quietly did his work to serve us! We noted this review for management who probably did not see the big picture on what’s going on in the front. Hope that a better tracking system for queues and payment automation may help to iron out these glitches?
With the food quality and price point, we will be back to visit!
