This diner was around the corner from our hotel and we ate breakfast here every day. The portions are huge but there are lighter options available for those watching their calories. All the staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful. If you're in the area I'd definitely recommend eating here for breakfast or brunch.

I’ve been to Sunset Grill a couple of times now, and this visit was the best. Shriya was our server and she honestly made the whole meal more enjoyable. She was cheerful, quick to help, and created such a positive atmosphere. Combine that with great food, and it’s hard to beat.

Had brunch here with friends and everything was spot on – from the eggs to the bacon. What impressed me most was how welcoming the staff were. Shriya looked after our table and she went above and beyond, making sure we had refills and even suggesting great add-ons. You can tell she enjoys what she does.

The chain is very consistent at this particular location had an issue with the landlord and closed. Well a new owner had taken over! GO ELSEWHERE! Perhaps you should try the New Yorker Deli two blocks away at Bay and Bloor just south of Bloor. I don’t need to rant on specifics just try another spot. This particular location does not keep the chains standards.

I ordered via UberEats from this location. The delivery person was sat waiting for ages. I did not get my order for almost 2 hours due to the slowness of the restaurant. When my order did come, turns out it was a completely different order someone had put in the bag with my name on it. Called the restaurant, they left the phone on and walked away from it. Completely unprofessional. This is actually a safety issue with allergies.
While Uber resolved the issue by giving me a refund, honestly all I really wanted was the actual food I ordered!
If you cannot handle delivery orders, then don’t put your restaurant on the app.
