This restaurant impressed me with its creativity. The fall-inspired appetizer plate showed how thoughtful and inventive the chef is with seasonal ingredients. The fig paired with monkfish liver in a crisp monaka, and the persimmon and shrimp in a silky tofu sauce, both gentle yet memorable. It is so rare to find this level of imagination in Japanese cuisine here, and the warm, fun chef made the experience even more enjoyable. I will definitely come back to see what chef Yuta can...
I’m so glad I found such a great sushi restaurant here in Toronto. I’ve had sushi before, but this was on a whole different level! My favourite was uni squid and otoro that literally melted in my mouth😩
