I’ve had wonderful experiences here before, but just had the worst takeout experience. The rice tasted incredibly old - made the maki inedible. The sashimi also did not taste fresh.
The wasabi was dry and crusty, almost impossible to eat. It felt like our meal was made of left overs; we barely touched it. Complete waste of money.
excellent food -probably some of the best I have had in a long time - fresh, simple (had a vegetarian maki set). Recommended
Cozy sushi restaurant. Nice private booths and sashimi was delicious!
I don't want to say I had the worst sushi of my life here, but it wouldn't be too far off. Galleria sells better sushi for half the price.
Super cozy inside — one of the most lovely atmospheres I have ever experienced in a small restaurant. However, the beef in my udon soup was so tough and overcooked, which is unfortunate, because I was really impressed by the atmosphere.
Quiet and cozy! Probably the best sushi I’ve had in the city for a great price too! I have visited many times and plan to go back! They also magically always have the most perfectly ripe and delicious avocado!
Just had the perfect rainbow roll at Sushi Maido. Delicious. Great restaurant.
Cozy restaurant with good lunch selection. Chef's special lunch box is very delicious.
The best!!!! Fish is always fresh and delicious. Owners are lovely. Been coming here for years.
Great customer service and food! Very cozy atmosphere and everything is very cute. Totally recommend

I love little Japanese restaurants that look like this, because even if the food is average, the atmosphere way makes up for it. That being said, the food was good and well worth it for the lunch special (all under $20), but of course for that price you can't expect an extravagant meal. The hot udon broth hit the spot and the sushi rolls were all well stuffed and proportioned. As well, the staff/owners were very cute and friendly.
The ambiance is cozy and feels genuine. The food is fairly priced and well prepared, everything feels fresh and is tasty. New fave spot
Superb sushi and makimono! The cuts are of high quality, simply melting in your mouth, paired with exquisite rice.
We've found that the bento boxes are the best value, giving diners a great balance between different foods. Consider the excellent tofu or salmon options.
Recommended for locals and tourists alike.
