The atmosphere might be kind of below average, but the food and the service more than makes up for the kind of mid atmosphere. Wouldn't be great for a romantic date or anything, but the sushi was delicious and felt fresh. The service was outstanding and the prices were very fair. Highly recommend!
The best sushi spot in all of the 6ix been coming here for 15 years, and if i could I'd eat here everyday! Don't get me started on the chicken katzu! 10/10
I rarely leave negative reviews. Came in as a customer for 1 table on a Sunday, never told how long the wait is. Table of 5 walks behind me greeted with pleasure and told wait till I see how long for a table. Gentleman says to the table of 5, “15 minutes.. don’t worry maybe sooner” when he passes by me, I say sorry.. how long for me? He says “I don’t know, whenever that table is done” I walked right out to “japan sushi” across the street that welcomed me with opened arms. Never again.
We got 3 complementary items Miso soup, salad, and ice cream. The sushi was great and the rice was also great. There was also wooden cubes on the wall. I would definitely go back here.
My 3 kids went there today from 4pm - 6pm and very disappointed. They were ignored, the server did not understand the menu, my kid spent $66 and did not get complimentary ice scream. 3 kids only given 1 ice cream. Sever is rude.
Very sad customer service
I really liked this sushi place, but yesterday I ordered a Spider Roll and was disappointed. They tasted sour and bitter at the same time, and the shrimp showed that they hadn't changed the oil in a long time. Not sure if will order again .
Perfect for a quick sushi meal in a casual setting!! Portions are generous and prices are reasonable! We will definitely return!
Cheapest sushi in Toronto - no complaints at all price like this.
Good for the price.

Should try , the portions are so big , resealable price and fresh
The rolls are big and good and fresh!
Coming from Vancouver I had almost lost faith in sushi restaurants in Toronto. The service is really great, the quality was there for the price point, and the chicken teriyaki was one of the best I’ve had.
Great service, awesome food and absolutely lovely staff
I tried their chirashi bowl—while the presentation was decent, the rice didn’t seem to be authentic Japanese rice, which was a bit disappointing. That said, the pricing does reflect the quality. My friend ordered the Sushi Gold Combo, and I have to say, their sushi was noticeably better than the chirashi. Don’t expect much in terms of service, and the washroom could really use some attention—it had an unpleasant smell. Overall, there’s definitely room for improvement, but some dishes might be worth trying.
