My friend and I were starving and just wanted something quick to eat last night before we left the area. We both ended up getting sick from this food, I had to grab medication to combat the stomach pain and nausea…. I genuinely don’t know how bad quality the food is but I never get sick from food at all. Never coming back here

What happening Freshi, another Canadian franchise not able to pay Cadillac Fairview. Why did i have to pay extra for Mayo and ginger with sushi. At $13.99 the miso thimble should be free. Instead I’m being taking away by Sushi-queue for $23.99 with no drink

I saw that it was buy one get one towards 8:30pm and couldn't resist a deal.

I got the dynamite Cali combo and dynamite roll for $14. The sushi rice wasn't well seasoned and it was a bit hard. Unfortunately these rolls lacked flavour and did not hit the spot at all.

Would not recommend and would not come back.

I will not lie, I do (or did) buy there quite often for 2 reasons: it’s affordable and, typically, whenever it’s on my way. I mainly go there to purchase during the “30% off end of day” discount and it’s pretty ok for me.

Although I just saw something that truly annoyed me, as they put another discount “buy 1 get 1 for free”, and once people started picking food, the lady removed the sign. I was thinking that they would at least honour that discount to people who clearly came to buy there just because of the discount but they didn’t. I would have been ok with their regular offer but this move is very low.

I don’t think that I would want to continue supporting this business anymore.

I know this is just a food court quick service sushi place, but you’d think they would still have some sort of standards for themselves for food and service. The sushi is terrible and the lady that owns the place stands where the line is and stares at you while you try to decide which sushi pack to choose from. Looks at you as if you are an inconvenience standing there. And if you stand there for too long (more than 30 seconds) she comes by and takes what you’ve been holding and stacks them towards the cash, without saying anything to you.. I’ve never seen an owner be so rude, unwelcoming and unkind! I’ve only ever written positive reviews before on google but this place was so, so terrible. I am a fellow Korean business owner and this was really disappointing to see. Definitely does not represent our community very well. They could do so much better if the owner just smiled and was nice! Although you are a quick service place, please remind yourselves to atleast be hospitable to your customers coming by.. you are competing with more than 20 other quick service joints.

I recently had one of the worst experiences ever at Sushi-Q, and I feel compelled to warn others about the appalling service I encountered. I was at the counter, ready to purchase a sushi box clearly marked at $6.90. Just as I was about to pay, the cashier—who later claimed to be the "manager"—blatantly changed the price tag to $12 right in front of my eyes. This wasn’t just a minor mistake; it was a clear act of dishonesty designed to rip me off.

When I calmly pointed out the original price on the sticker, the cashier's response was nothing short of shocking. Instead of acknowledging the issue or apologizing for the discrepancy, she rudely snapped, "Get it or leave," as if I was somehow in the wrong for expecting to pay the advertised price. Her attitude was beyond disrespectful—it was hostile, as if she couldn’t care less about the customers.

Still in disbelief, I asked to speak with the manager, hoping someone else might be able to handle the situation more professionally. To my utter shock, the cashier smugly informed me that she was the manager. The fact that this rude and unprofessional individual is supposedly in charge is beyond comprehension. Her behavior was not only inappropriate, but it also made me question how a business like this could possibly survive with such a person at the helm.

After a tense exchange, she reluctantly agreed to give me a refund, but only after refusing to give me the sushi I had initially wanted. To make matters worse, when I asked for the actual manager’s contact information, she gave me a random fake number, further showing how little respect she has for customers. It was clear she was being difficult just for the sake of it, deriving some twisted satisfaction from denying me a simple transaction and deceiving me with a false contact number. Her conduct was not just unprofessional; it was downright hostile and completely unacceptable.

I left the counter empty-handed, frustrated, and frankly, shocked by the level of rudeness I encountered. This so-called "manager" clearly has no idea how to treat customers, let alone run a business.

If you value your time, your money, and basic respect, do yourself a favor and steer clear of Sushi-Q. There are plenty of other places where you can get sushi without being treated like garbage. This place is a disgrace, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

Quite classic fast food sushi but still with good portions unlike others in Montreal.
We chose ngiri sashimi Maki roll it was good.

The $15 salmon poke is a good deal considering the portion and bonus miso soup. Definitely more hearty than other similarly priced pokes. The taste of the sauce can be improved, but overall it’s not bad.

Sushi is OK. It’s in a food court so don’t expect top quality.

I had their Ramen, just awful. First they sold me the wrong kind, couldn't see their own menu, from where the cashier was standing. I asked for 2 eggs and got one. I even reminded her when she was preparing my food. The table and chairs they have for eat-in, you better stand, couldn't seat properly anyways.

I do not normally eat at fast food sushi places, but my daughter was very hungry, so I took my chance. Everything was repacked, so I choose 2 boxes, gave them myself to cashier and choose a canned drink. When I paid I did not include tip because frankly it was not any service I received. Cashier, took a printed check looked at it, demonstratively crambled it and through away. I did not want to make a scene in front of my child so I let it go. Still angry writing it. Food was on low mediocre end but that was expected. Cashier behavior however was not expected or called for.
