The sushi was not the most impressive that i have eat and for the price we pay should have been outstanding. The meet is ok, although having meet from the US in such controversial times sounds odd. Service was nice, but the sommelier pushed a little too much for expensive bottles when we told him that a regular normal wine was ok. Value for the money should have been better $1049 for 4 people!
Very disappointed with the place - second visit this time for lunch. Lida was a lovely server. Kitchen came with meals for another table and put them down - we didn't recognize anything we ordered. They retrieved and took it to another table. Our food came shortly and the server had to quiz everyone at who ordered what. Come on guys! Not cool in an expensive restaurant. I had wagyu - not fancy - ordered medium as I told the server nothing red. She recommended medium. Took one bite and it squirted blood. Nuff said. Coconut pie was good. Won't be back. My friends meals were ok nothing to return for. To many other great options in the area. Asked for still water and paid $25 for 3 bottles - miscommunication.
Fantastic spot. The staff rocked and the chef even came to our table to suggest a different sauce since my guest is lactose intolerant!
Phenomenal food as always. It was very loud, but that's because there was a Christmas party happening at the front of the restaurant. After waiting some time with no acknowledgment, I did have to ask a server passing by if he could get our server so we could get our service started. But other than that, we had a great time. I will always be back to blue bovine, the food is undeniably exquisite. Thank you Blue Bovine for being such a great edition to the cities culinary experience.
Jason was great! Really helped out with making decisions on how much food to order, very attentive and great energy. Food was fab, we were super pleased with everything. We loved the DJ'ing during dinner also.
Sushi and grilled octopus are REALLY good here. But it was way too busy - it was giving clerb vibes on a Thursday night for these lawyers and finance bros.
Great happy Hour ... We had one waitress then another for a few min then switched again nothing was ever said . Food was great ... nice happy hour menu . Highly recommend .
Sat at the BAR last night with a buddy before the Raptrs game. Dan was our bartender, always a great time with him on bar. We ate happy hour snacks like Waygu sliders, veggie spring rolls and karaage chicken, all delicious. Chef Sean also paid us a visit at the bar to welcome us back. Great vibe with a busy house and a DJ playing awesome beats. Overall recommend always. We go back often.
First time there and the food and service was outstanding. Perhaps because of the single room layout we found that the noise level was a little too loud for business conversation around the table.
The front hostess was very respectful and welcoming. The gentleman who made our caesar salad was amazing, too. Our server not the best. Food was good, too.

Another great dining experience at Blue Bovine. An awesome place to start before heading to Scotia Bank Arena . Be prepared for a pricier menu but the food choices are excellent and service is great. The place was particularly buzzing on this occasion. The DJ kept the energy level high. One thing I would warn is it's not a quick stop for a meal. Reserve a table for earlier than you normally would and enjoy leisurely drinks and a meal before your event. A super quick walk to the Arena. Highly recommend any of the sushi or seafood options and of course if you are a meat lover the steak options are excellent.
We really enjoy this new location, and easy walk underground from the Royal York Hotel, without a jacket at this time if year. Food is amazing, and the wine selection is equal. We ordered the scallops with risotto, and the scallops were perfect, same as my steak, cooked to medium rare perfection, with a side sauce that was a home recipe of Chef Sean's, with forged mushroom with such a flavor that complimented everything on the table. Every meal Chef Sean assembles is art, and it comes through with every bite. Would eat here every day if I was local. Just stunning. Thanks Chef, truly appreciated the experience once again.
Subject: Dining Experience It seems the restaurant was so busy last night that half of our meal was forgotten, which was disappointing. Fortunately, Floor Manager Moza stepped in right away and did everything she could to make up for the mishap. From that point on, Ashley also ensured that service was back on track. Moza was very apologetic, and I truly appreciate her efforts. I know it must have been an off night, as I've had the pleasure of dining here often and the service is usually excellent. Thank you, Moza, for making up for what was missed with our meal. Cheers, Sam
Excellent fine dining experience. We had great service from the staff. Very attentive, excellent recommendations from apps to entrees to the wine. Meals were perfect!
