First time eating at this location and I can confidently say that this was the best experience I’ve ever had at a Swiss Chalet. It was a bit tricky to find the door (as the usual path from 700 University was locked for the weekend) but we eventually found it after walking a few steps down from University Ave, west side. As soon as you enter, the restaurant has a cozy feel but is still bright due to the ample windows. Everything was clean and in order. The food was absolutely delicious, everything was hot and fresh, especially the Chalet Sauce! Our server Remy was exceptionally kind, pleasant, and attentive to our requests - haven’t had such a great experience service-wise in a while! We really appreciated it and it made a difference in how much we enjoyed our meal. Thank you Swiss Chalet and thank you Remy! We’ll be back soon.

Whatever happened to that Swiss Chalet business model? Does it need to be updated because the meal I had here was delicious in a nice clean environment served by people who were actually happy. On a Saturday. I ordered the basic quarter chicken dinner and was pleasantly surprised by the juiciness and tenderness of the rotisserie chicken. Plus I love the fact that the chicken wasn't big and fat and plump like a sodium induced poultry farm "product". The chicken size and taste was that of a real chicken. Perhaps marketing should focus more on the quality of their product. Another suggestion is maybe just to cut down on the salt just a little bit. But with a nice cold beer it does go down very well.

Confrontational short Filipino woman that works here that seems to like to cause problems on a routine basis. Went here about a week ago where I tried to speak to another employee about the issue, and was rudely interrupted by the employee. Food is good depending on who serves it. Will not return so long as this employee is working there. It's no surprise either that Swiss Chalet's are closing

Been going here for years, and this place is very hit and miss.- Negatively varying portion sizes if you're getting takeout, usually on the smaller side.- Some of the kitchen staff don't know how to steam vegetables, so half the time your 'market vegetables' will be practically raw.- Overpriced for the quality. They try to pad it out with non-negotiable sides and a small bun, but anyone eating this stuff can tell they're not getting their money's worth.- Ironically the chicken items SC specializes in are the least cost-efficient. Get any other main dish.- Starters and appetizers are all similarly obscenely overpriced.- Chicken place doesn't even offer unbreaded chicken wings.The only people who choose to eat here have the money to waste or have no other convenient choice.

Food is good and so is the waitress. Had a great meal two days ago. Today they seated us and took orders order pretty quickly. But then they declined to take one of our coupons. They say they don’t participate in the $18.99 quarter chicken, appetizer and pop coupon.Not sure if we will come back. A shame as our first visit was nice and today was ruined by this.

Ordered several times prior however, the last time the food quality was absolutely abysmal. Store refused to fully compensate for order or to issue a replacement. Guest services was useless in assisting in the matter.

Fast, packed well, everything I ordered was accounted for. The app has great 'deals' - and saved us a bit of money! The app is pretty slick. The Live Driver portion never updated - but the food arrived at the estimated time when checking out. Would recommend!

I've come here several times over the years, and always leave with a good impression of the place. The staff work their hardest here, even if they seem to be understaffed (a common problem in the industry, I know that all too well), but they're professional. Anyways, the food here is good, and this is a great place to cone for a work lunch, or see family.
