My fave afternoon tea lounge! Scones, sandwiches, pastries & desserts are carefully curated & always fresh. Very affordable considering the generous portions. We always have a wonderful experience at t-buds!

Huge tea selection. The high tea and classic tea options are both good and filling. I gave 3 stars for atmosphere only because it is not the fanciest of places, but it is nicr, quaint and clean. A good option for tea in the area and good value for the price.

We arrived for a belated Mother’s Day tea. We were put in a corner table. At first we were rushed into ordering. We asked for more time to pick tea but minutes later the server was back. My daughter barely had time to pick her tea. They asked if I wanted milk and then never brought it. When I eventually asked for the milk the server seemed annoyed. Then we were ignored. We were never checked in on or asked if we wanted more water. Eventually I asked for a box for our left overs and the server set the table for a new customer before bringing the box. Then we asked for a container for the earl grey pudding and she was annoyed to have to do that. We were not offered our flute of tea that I asked about. It was brought but the server didn’t seem happy. Finally while we were deciding what to tip a server who did almost nothing the machine timed out. When she came back she implied we didn’t know how to tap.
I have gone in the past and have had good service and was not ignored. I would rather spend more money on a high end place and receive decent customer service.
It seemed that other tables were being looked after but not us.
Sadly, I don’t know if we will return

The food & teas are delicious, the price is very reasonable and the staff are friendly & accommodating. I would recommend making a reservation - it is small so limited tables, especially for a group, a reservation is your safest bet

This afternoon tea is the best in terms of quantity and quality at such a reasonable price. My experience is that the servers are more than helpful and knowledgeable about the large list of teas on offer. I especially appreciate the large selection as an opportunity to experience new flavours and tea styles. The owners are wonderful and very knowledgeable about tea. I don't often come across afternoon tea locations where there is such good information and suggestions. Many of the aft tea places I've been to are stingy with their servings or overly fancy. I've always said that T -Buds still remains my best overall afternoon tea experience, including those I've experienced in the UK.

This is a lovely place! I first went for my friend's bridal shower and I came back for my birthday. The food is delicious and the servers are really friendly. It's a fun and fancy experience to have a tea service. I had a great time!

We went here with some friends and had a wonderful time! We ordered two sets of their classic afternoon tea and two sets of their high tea. Both sets were quite good! We liked the savoury items, most notably the pastries and quiches.
The scones were also very tasty and not crumbly/dry. We would’ve loved to have the classic clotted cream along with your typical afternoon tea, but the crème mascarpone was still good.
The desserts were tasty!
The highlight would definitely be the flute of sparkling tea at the end! We loved how light the flavour was since we had never had it before! I would recommend coming here if you want a nice tea experience for a reasonable price!

Don't let this unassuming tea spot fool you. I've had high tea numerous times in London UK and at some of Torontos' high-end hotels. This place rivals Harrod's, IYKYK. The selection of teas was amazing. So much delicious treats we couldn't finish. Thank you to the owner and Angel for making our birthday celebration so special.

The restaurant is very tiny and crowded. We had a reservation but still be sent to a side table that I could see the back of kitchen and washroom. The light inside is so dim that cannot have any good pictures.

The food has weird food to combine with pastry such as onions and washroom. I will not visit this place and would not recommend it.

The staff were incredibly accommodating to our needs as first time parents and went the extra mile while they had a packed house. The food was amazing as usual. Thanks again for making our special day extra special!

I was very excited to book this as an afternoon tea with my partner, however, it was quite disappointing. There were many, perhaps too many, tea choices, I think about 75+. The food menu was very confusing, as you book different meals of food at once, it's not an a la carte menu. So there was no choice in what was served, except for dietary restrictions.
There was a large quantity of food, but only the scones were good, with a mascarpone/whipped cream mixture to spread.
The layout was quite strange, and where we were seated you had to ask 2 tables to move to get out. Because of this, our server did not return after giving the plates of food, so there was no opportunity to order anything else or get a tea refill.
With tip, it was $75 per person, which you would expect from a place with better service and food quality

Kid-friendliness: This location is not kid friendly, with no high chairs or kids menu

Wheelchair accessibility: A very narrow set of stairs, and not enough floor space when tables were full, means that even a cane user would find this location inhospitable.

Nice high tea place. Every sandwich was distinct and no repeats, pretty tasty. Scones were luke warm but acceptable, not dry or stale.

I was going to say the service was good, and that the server offered to explain the items and refill our pots.

But the afternoon set was supposed to come with a flute of sparkling tea according to the printed menu and we never received it! I only realized it at home afterwards. Not sure if the menu was outdated.
