I really wanted to try the high tea but had to leave before the food arrived because of the heat.

Service was very slow. We were seated for quite a while before they came to take our order, and took long enough for us to leave before serving.

This tea shop is so delightful and charming! The portion sizes are perfect (or near so as we had a few leftovers), the food is tasty and interesting (the chickpea salad is the stuff of dreams!!) the tea choices are amazing! So many to choose from, with lots of information on the tea and flavor profiles. This was my first time at this amazing place, which I happened to choose because the other tea shop I was getting to was closed this day however it certainly turned out to be a blessing in disguise because the experience at this place was no short of a gem. Was warmly greeted, I believe by the owner, who explained the huge variety of tea and what sandwiches would go pairing with what tea.
