What an awesome high tea spot! Very affordable and we all know that afternoon tea can get quite expensive. They give you a lot of little bites to eat for the price you pay. You get scones, sandwiches, macarons etc and it's honestly really filling. It felt like a meal in itself and I don't think I finished everything.

It's seriously awesome that t-buds offers takeout options. I had the classic afternoon tea box-to-go before, and recently ordered the high tea box-to-go. In both cases, I found one box-to-go is perfect for sharing between 2 people, and most of the items are easy to cut in half to split.

The staff are really sweet and helpful too, answering all my questions about ingredients for a friend with allergies and travelling with an order for a cold weather subway...

I really wanted to try the high tea but had to leave before the food arrived because of the heat.

Service was very slow. We were seated for quite a while before they came to take our order, and took long enough for us to leave before serving.

I won’t rate the food yet, I’ll try again in the winter but this restaurant has no air conditioning, no ventilation, and no fans. It was smeltering inside, everyone was looking pretty flushed, so...
