Delicious food. Pho had a savoury broth but barely enough beef. Friendly and charming atmosphere and service.

I was recovering from the stomach flu and on a limited diet when I stopped in at Tâm. The family was so kind and welcoming and accommodating of my restrictions and even gave me ginger tea. I ordered a delicious and hearty bowl of pho, and ordered a second to take home. This is my new favourite Vietnamese restaurant in Toronto ?

I had an amazing experience at Tam Vietnamese Street Food! The food was incredibly delicious, and it's evident that May, the owner's mother and chef, cooks with a lot of love. The atmosphere is cool, and the top-notch customer service made my visit even better. I highly recommend this place to everyone.

This place is near my work so we decided to stop in to try it out because it had a lot of really good reviews. From a flavour perspective, it is on point. The spicy beef noodle soup (bun bo hue) is very aromatic and flavourful. The steamed rice paper rolls (banh cuon) is pretty decent. Price is alright, targeting that quick lunch crowd, except it's usually not that quick because they make stuff fresh. My only complaint is that the portions are really small, as you can see the reference with my hand next to it. There's only one size and you can't change it. They need to give their customers the options to change the sizes because not everyone eats the same amount.

Comfy and homey food. Quiet little restaurant across from a bus stop. They have a small selection. The pho and bun bo hue is good (not spicy)… also you need to put away your own dishes and trays. Affordable!

Poor customer service. The order usually take a while to make and that’s why we call first before coming. I asked for 2 orders of Bun Bo Hue for dining in and when coming to the store, it’s already packed. It’s not really a problem to us, and the guy was so nice when he offered us that he’ll make it for dine in (we would say no anyway because we can do it ourselves), however, the young lady beside him said no, it’s already made! And she did not even look at us. Bro, it’s not our fault? Please train her how to talk to customer in a bettter way! Still coming back for the good food!

Wow I am super disappointed with the banh mi especially because its so highly rated. I got the classic one with pork and the pork had 0 flavour. And there was barely any pork inside to begin with. Also it had a weird texture inside, I couldn’t even finish it because of the zero flavour and texture thing. Such a shame because the service was so nice and the interior is cute :(

Tam is an awesome little restaurant that makes you feel so welcome and at home. The food and drinks are absolutely delicious, and it’s very affordable. For those who want to feel safe, have a full belly and enjoy a unique and comforting atmosphere, I highly recommend this gem of a restaurant.

I've never felt so comfortable at a restaurant in my entire life, and every item on the menu is so delicious reasonably priced! Also, something i never noticed until i started frequenting Tam: its great to go any time of day! Its great for a start of day Coffee, fun and easy lunch/brunch/dinner, and cozy evening dines and dates.

I stepped in on a very hot evening to find their was no air conditioning in the restaurant, so right away I was considering leaving (and should have) but stuck around largely due to the inexplicably high reviews for this place. I found the menu to have pretty standard fare (not sure what the street food items were exactly - if any).I ordered the Goi Cuon as an appetizer, beef pho as an entree and some Vietnamese coffee. My server behind the counter seemed distracted and out to lunch. The appetizer turned out to be a standard salad roll, though I use that term very incorrectly. The roll's skin was tough and the filling was 90% plain noodles. The single, thin strip of pork was absolutely laughable. The sauce was full of carrots and daikon for some reason, which made dipping impossible. It was pretty awful. They need to just remove it from the menu. It's a parody of what it should be.The pho itself was actually quite nice - very flavourful and nicely prepared. Were it not so good, I'd definitely be giving this place the lowest rating possible. The coffee was absolutely miniscule. Some deep rationing has occurred at this place and the customers pay the price for it. Avoid.

Real deal Vietnamese comfort food. I've only tried three items on the menu but will be back to try everything. Rarely see Banh Cuon on menu's and Tam's was spot on. It made me miss my ba noi

Super underrated spot with delicious food for a really good price. I recommend both the vegetarian pho and beef pho.
