Tabule Middle Eastern Cuisine

We hosted our holiday party at Tabule Midtown, and it was fantastic from start to finish. The food was exceptional! It was fresh, flavourful, and beautifully presented. Kevin and his staff were warm, attentive, and incredibly accommodating, making sure everything ran smoothly throughout the evening. The atmosphere was cozy yet elegant and festive, perfect for a group celebration.

Horrible service. The server referred to the picture on my phone of my deceased grandmother as a character from Lord of the Rings. After he realized the picture was an actual person, he kept laughing. He laughed so hard, he had to switch tables and sent us a new server. It was pretty bad that my company offered to leave the restaurant. I wouldn’t recommend this location!

….After speaking to management, they genuinely apologized and definitely did all they could to makeup for my negative experience. They provided me with a more than generous gift card to give them another try. I went to the Bayview location and the food was great & customer service was amazing! Definitely not like my first experience. I would recommend! Thank you Tabule management team.

The four of us all enjoyed our meal. Fresh perfectly seasoned, and the chicken was outstanding. We will definitely be back. Towards the end of the meal, one of the diners at our party felt suddenly ill unrelated to the meal, and the waitress was lovely and brought her hot water with mint leaves. We appreciated the kindness. We really enjoyed Tabule and will be back again soon .

Tabule in Midtown on Yonge (2009 Yonge Street) is in the heart of Midtown. Quite possibly my favourite neighbourhood restaurant. I absolutely always have a delightful experience. From the moment I walk in, the warm, inviting atmosphere and tasteful decor set the tone for a wonderful meal. The place feels modern yet cozy — perfect for catching up with friends, a relaxed dinner or a casual night out.

The food is outstanding. Their mezze selection is top-notch: creamy hummus, smoky babaganouj, fresh tabule salad, and warm gluten-free laffa — all flavorful, balanced, and full of Middle Eastern charm. The falafel salad, labni, and grilled dishes are also standout picks. Portions are generous and quality ingredients shine through in every bite.

Service was friendly, attentive, and unpretentious. The staff made me feel welcome, checked in at the right moments, and offered helpful menu suggestions without ever being pushy.

What really rounds out the experience is the drinks program. Tabule Midtown offers more than just the usual — they have a full bar, cocktails and a solid selection of wines. They even run fun deals: “Habibi Happy Hour” for snacks and sips, half-price wine on Wednesdays, and free corkage on Mondays if you bring your own bottle. It’s a wonderful way to complement a meal, whether you want something light or prefer to pair dishes with a nice wine or cocktail. 

The location is ideal — easy to reach via subway (Davisville / Eglinton), and there’s public parking nearby if you’re driving. All in all, Tabule Midtown is the perfect blend of delicious, authentic Middle Eastern cuisine, inviting ambiance, great drinks, and warm service. I’ll absolutely be going back!

One of my favourite restaurants in Toronto. Second time coming for dinner this week. Menu offers great variety, service is friendly and top notch. Generous portions and delicious food. Recommend it if you haven't enjoyed it yet.

I have eaten at Tabule several times now, both lunch and dinner, but this is my first time giving a review. My most recent lunch at Tabule with my coworkers was once again a great experience. Our server Eren K was excellent. Very pleasant, attentive and friendly. The food was delicious and the salmon was the best I've ever had. I also appreciated the complimentary basket of pita bread. I would absolutely recommend this restaurant and they definitely deserve a 5-star rating.

Fish was overcooked. A special request to hold an ingredient (onions) from the melange of vegetables was not honoured. Disappointed- Tabule has been much, much better.
