Food was great!
Pavan was really sweet and helpful.
10/10
I stopped by Tahini on Bloor Street recently, and it quickly became one of my go-to spots for quick, tasty Middle Eastern food. The place is casual but clean, with a relaxed vibe that’s perfect for a quick lunch or dinner on the go.
What really stands out here is the shawarma wraps. They are absolutely delicious—packed with tender, juicy meat that’s been perfectly marinated and roasted. Whether you go for chicken or beef, each bite is full of flavor. The wraps are stuffed with fresh toppings and just the right amount of sauce, all tucked into warm, soft pita bread. It’s the kind of shawarma that hits the spot without being overly greasy or heavy.
Another big plus is the service. It’s consistently quick and efficient, even when there’s a line. The staff are friendly and clearly know what they’re doing, so you never have to wait too long.
Prices are also reasonable for downtown Toronto, especially given the portion sizes. You leave full and satisfied every time.
If you’re around the area and craving a proper shawarma wrap that’s done right, Tahini is a solid choice. I’ll definitely be coming back!
Order by uber. Worst bowl of shawarma ever. Cheap sauce and loaded with large pickles, barely 4 pieces of meat and the hot sauce tasted like straight red chilis
Thank you jiasmin for your service

Aben was fantastic—friendly, attentive. Great service!
Compared to the Tahini’s location near Islington and the 401, the portion sizes at this spot are noticeably smaller. Initially, I thought it might be due to ordering through Uber Eats, but I decided to give it another shot and visited in person, unfortunately, the portions were just as small.
That said, the food itself still tastes great.
The food was very delicious
This was my third location of Tahinis, but unfortunately, my experience fell short. The staff seemed extremely exhausted probably because he was alone, leading to unpleasant service. Orders were just shouted out and left on the counter without much attention. Shawarma was tasty, but the dine-in experience was disappointing. Hopefully, they'll work on improving service.
Thanks to Jiasmin for her service
