We dropped in before a show next door and enjoyed our meal. We left before the live entertainment but will return and eat at later time in the near future to hear music and see the flamenco. Paella was delicious as well ask the half dozen tapas we ordered. Four of us at the table and everything split nicely for even sharing. Lots of options for gluten-free diners. Service was friendly.
Here's a cleaner version: Absolutely amazing food and great service! The flamenco show was fantastic too. We'll definitely be back.
Having just returned from over a month on the Camino in northern Spain, I was expecting authentic Spanish dishes, I was disappointed.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had such a great time at Embrujo Nights! The food was delicious, Spanish Tortilla, Russian Salad, and Serranito de Pollo were all amazing. The performances were beautiful and full of energy, and the flamenco community was so welcoming. The free Rumba class with Maria Serrano was the perfect way to end the night, so much fun!
We had an outstanding time on a Saturday evening. We ordered several tapas and a paella, which were all delicious. The live flamenco show was a real treat. This is an authentic, family-run Spanish restaurant, a real gem in Toronto. I felt like I was back in Spain for an evening!
Tapas at Embrujo is a gem for anyone who loves authentic Spanish food. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the service is friendly and attentive. The paella was absolutely delicious — rich, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. It truly felt like a little taste of Spain right in the city. Highly recommend! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Tapas at Embrujo is the kind of restaurant that reminds you why Spanish food is meant to be shared, savoured, and enjoyed slowly. We tried several dishes, but the one that absolutely stole the show was the paella. It arrived in the traditional pan, beautifully presented and full of colour and aroma. The rice was cooked exactly the way paella should be—each grain separate, packed with saffron and seafood flavour, and never mushy. The seafood was fresh, tender, and generously portioned, but the best part was the socarrat: that golden layer of crisp, caramelized rice at the bottom. It had the perfect texture and depth of flavour—slightly smoky, slightly nutty, and absolutely addictive. It's the kind of detail that proves the chef really knows what they're doing. The rest of the tapas were just as well executed—crispy patatas bravas, deliciously seasoned chorizo, and perfectly grilled octopus. Service was welcoming and attentive without ever feeling rushed, which made the whole meal feel relaxed and enjoyable. If you're looking for real, well-made Spanish food—especially authentic paella—this place is worth every bite. I'd come back for the socarrat alone.
We really enjoyed all the samples at the Casa Maria open house! We'll definitely be back with friends and family.
2 of us dined on a thursday night, literally had the restaurant to our selves and waitress placed us at the tinest table in the corner. Table was barely enought to fit apps and drinks. Tapas were okay but way too oily, bread/grilled chicken/chorizo all bathing in pool of butter/oil. Short ribs were dry/burnt, steak was meh. The only thin kept us going were the sangrias. Wont visit again.
Great time, the food, sangria and ambience were all great. Love that the food comes out piping hot!

I live in Vancouver but visit Toronto every year. My son took me to Tapas At Embrujo last year when I came for Christmas, we had a great time as the food is very genuine and delicious. I have been to Barcelona 8 times so I know what good Tapas is. The service also very good. Danielle and another young man looked after us. We also enjoyed the ambience and the Flamenco dance show. This year I brought my girlfriend there. She loved it. Great restaurant and I get to talk to Chef owner Jose and learned a lot about Spanish food. Next year I will also return.
No tapas there.. good sangria though!

The flamenco show is always excellent. Just the right length—good view from all tables. Tapas has something for everyone. Rich flavours not too heavy Exceptional value. Bottle of wine, tapas for 2, show. All of $150. Can't do that a regular chain roadhouse! Always memorable
I loved my experience here! So much so that I went three times in a row. They were very accommodating even when I was a bit late. Outstanding food and the Flamenco show was excellent.
Food was mediocre on line menu had more items . When asked server said they are no longer available, not really Spanish, show was not a Flamenco dancer at all Guitar was great overall bad will not return
