Had special Dowest dish($12 tax in) from Tapioca Toronto. Their regular organic chicken tamale was topped up with salsa, guacamole, olives & arugula. Never had these combination with tamale before and what a great idea!!!
Popped in got a latte, crepe and 3 cheese buns. Crepe was delicious, very flavorful. Latte was rich and creamy. The coffee had a very smooth taste. And the cheese buns were fluffy and very cheesy.
I frequently purchase bags of their frozen pão queijo and they are by far the best I have ever had in my life, including ones I've had while I still lived in Brazil.They are perfectly balanced, with the most amazing texture and the only single bad thing about them is I keep on wanting more once they are over. I just finished eating a batch with my family and I was sad I was about to eat the last one. They are now part of my own mental comfort food menu as it's sure...
