Very, very salty. We got a pack of 6 assorted flavours at Distillery District and while the texture is perfect, all flavours were incredibly salty. Customer service was excellent.

Can't say enough great things about this place! Staff are wonderful, so friendly. The tarts are incredible, best gf pastry in Ontario. So flakey and tender it's hard to believe it's not wheat! And of course the atmosphere is delightful with the live jazz! It's very hard to leave once that music starts.Vegetarian options: They always have a vegetarian and/vegan option for the savory tarts.Dietary restrictions: Celiac heaven!

This little hole in the wall is a great cafe. A quaint looking place with artwork on the wall, pick a teacup w saucer you’d like to be served, grab a tart (can’t believe GF tarts can taste soo good) and enjoy the live jazz (every Saturday). What else you can ask for ?FYI. The shop sells variety of GF sweet & savoury tarts. Also take large orders, discount on tarts if buy 6.

Stopped by their little stand located within the Distillery District and was surprised by the number of flavors available. The gentleman occupying the stand was very kind. I ordered 4 tarts: blueberry, raspberry, lemon, and plain. My favorites were the lemon and the plain. The lemon provided an excellent tart contrast to the ooey, gooey, custardy goodness of the tart. The plain was your traditional butter tart that needs no improvement! Both the blueberry and the raspberry were good, but I felt like the flavors of the berries had a hard time coming through the sweetness of the custard. The crusts of the tarts were divine! Perfectly crumbly and flaky. Hopefully I have the chance to go back soon!
