If this place had a storefront, I would probably indulge in their butter croissants every day. Their croissants are ultra-light and crispy, with a flakiness like a shedding tree in autumn. The interior structure is a work of art, a perfect amount of airiness that somehow delivers a powerful punch of butteriness in each bite. Their kouign amann is equally addicting but with a spiral shape, that actually makes it more fun to savour its crisp bottom of caramelized sugar that's not too sweet.

Also got their Chausson aux Pommes - same buttery, flaky and light puff pastry, with a perfect amount of savoriness and strong butter aroma on it's own, and a beautiful golden brown colour. The apples were too soft imo and felt like it lacked cinnamon or any caramelization, but was decently tart and sweet and apple aroma, and the filling to pastry ratio was quite generous, although I would've preferred more pastry honestly to balance out the ratios because all you can taste is apple in some bites.

Hands down my favorite bakery in Toronto. The pain au chocolate, butter croissant, and other pastries are top notch. They bring me so much joy! Only wish it’s available more than once a week.

Without a doubt, this place has some of the best pastries in Toronto. The exterior of their croissant shatters when you take a bite while the interior is soft and buttery. Their kouign amann is not overly sweet and very light surprisingly. I would highly suggest you pre-order as there is limited to no walk-in product to buy. We waited about maybe 10 minutes in their pick-up line on a Saturday morning. There is plenty of on-street parking ($1 for 15 minutes) or you can chance it at the gas station across the street.

It took me years to finally try this place due to once a week, only two hours opening window. It was worth it!Realized how much pastries taste so much better when they were still warm. Cannot even remember when was the last time I had warm croissant. It was so buttery, soft & flaky.Orange Cardamom Kouign Amann. Very different than any other kouign Amann. There is not much crispy caramelization on top. Still warm with flaky layers covered with/orange peel & cardamom. What a great combo!Cinnamon bun was not typical cinnabon style buns that would be covered with icing which was even better. Loved the quality of dark chocolate in Pain Au Chocolates as wellDon’t know when I can make it to that two hours pick up time frame on Saturday, but if you can preorder and try them!

Some of the the best pastries and croissants I've ever tasted! The croissants, nice and light, taste the butter and a little crunch to them. The Cinnabon, ? made with the same dough as croissants with just a light sprinkle of sugar instead of the frosting. But, the apple turnover, #1 "to die for" apple put into a croissant style. Would rate it a "10" if I could. Very friendly owners! Will be a weekly customer.
