Food is great and located conveniently in the lobby of 1KW, however the service is very slow on a Sunday lunch hour. We were seated quickly, then ordered 2 starts and 2 mains and it took nearly 40 minutes before the food came. It took 20 minutes for them to even provide tap water. Respectfully this wasn't anything to do with the wait staff, as they literally only had the single waitress there who was working all the tables and the bar. Definitely understaffed by management. Food however was good, came out hot and well seasoned. I'd come back but only if not pressed for time and perhaps if I see more than a single person working.

Make sure you're not in a rush, cuz you'll be waiting!
We are staying in the hotel the restaurant was in and figured we'd try it out since it's so cold outside. There was a wedding going on so I understand it could take a little longer with how busy it was. It took about 15 minutes before we even got menues. After we ordered we waited about 35 minutes before I spoke to someone. About 5 minutes later they returned with the food. They mentioned the food would be free because of the wait which was nice. But I was glad we didn't pay Because the burger I had was burnt as well as the bun and my dada chicken club was just okay. I've worked in restaurants and could tell they missed our order and quickly threw them together. If you can't handle the wedding and the customer, close down for the night. Very disappointed. Don't recommend if they're busy

We booked a table for 4 for the Christmas Dinner special and were shown only a 10pm option for the fixed menu. We thought it was rather late but we're willing to wait for the lobster risotto and filet mignon, it is Christmas after all. When we arrived we were told the last Christmas dinner had been served at 9:30pm, that they had never gotten the reservation even though I had a text and email confirming. When I asked how they had run out when we had an official reservation, the manager sheepishly admitted they had sold some to walk ins. They offered us to order from the main menu but said we only had 20 minutes until that was also going to be closed, no discount or other options were offered to make up for this huge lapse on the holiday. To say we were disappointed was an understatement and even more so by how it was handled.

Had a good night at Teller Bar & Bistro. The beer was genuinely great, super crisp and exactly what you want after a long day. The steak was fine, not bad at all, just not particularly memorable. The gnocchi was good, really creamy and saucy in the best way.
Only thing worth noting is that the entrance was a bit confusing. It’s tucked below the hotel, so it took a minute to figure out where to go.
Overall, solid spot for drinks and a relaxed meal. I’d come back to try more of the menu.

Stayed at One King West recently and ordered room service. It was expensive (to be expected) but the service was fast and the food was delicious. I ordered the rigatoni and truffle fries. The rigatoni with sausage and confit tomatoes were a great combination, and the fries were perfectly seasoned.

Inside of the One King West hotel, atmosphere is great and everything we ate was good and large portion. We really likes the salad which came as a side to the burger.
If youa are a guest of the hotel, there is a 20% off the price for lunch menu.

Ordered 2 steak and fries dinners for takeout, perfect medium rare. Fries were crispy. Food was ready sooner than expected, and the gentleman on the phone was very nice.

The bartender pours cheap Ontario Chardonnay instead of quality California Chardonnay and doesn't even tell you about it. Impudent)
Worst possible service by the manager, he can barely speak English. He is extremely rude and unfriendly. I got a takeout order for one burger, a fried calamari and a lava cake. The burger was as dry as a bone, and beyond overcooked & dry. The calamari was missing the lemon wedge & sauce & my cake had no ice cream. I called back probably five times to speak to the manager to discuss this issue. He did not have the audacity to call me back for the week later. I called numerous times to follow up. And he was extremely rude. He told me at the time I would be able to get something else for takeout whenever I wanted, and I should call him back when I was ready to do so. I called back and he claimed he was unable to meet my request as it had been a month later. It shouldn’t matter because it was a month later… so I spent over $50 for a dinner I did not eat with no compensation. Maybe learn how to manage a restaurant .. Save your time & money. NEVER GO HERE AGAIN
