The food here is great, however my boyfriend called in advance to see if any of the vegan meat/fish was gluten free. The person he spoke with assured him that there are gluten free vegan fish options. When we arrived we were told only the vegetable and tofu sushi could be made gluten free. This was really misleading and disappointing. Please be honest with customers! Celiac disease is serious and we want to make informed decisions.

Literally loved this place. First time having sushi and it did not disappoint (my friend who isn’t vegan ate it loved it too). I also had the soup which was good.

Good service, nice dish. Would try the sushi next time. Lots of options.
Very nice ambiance with the music of strings that played softly. The service is delightful; a worker noticed my brother and me running low on water and immediately gave us another water container. Overall, an amazing experience. I recommend going; there's a large menu variety too.

These guys are 10/10. The Tenon sushi roll is the one I keep going back for, and the Queen roll, which has tons of seitan. The staff goes above and beyond, and the space is well lit, clean, and massive. Thinking about hosting a meet up group here Cool they have so many menu items to choose from, too.

The dishes we tried were simply fabulous.. The Tenon sushi and the Red Curry gluten Duck..
Tenon is an absolute gem in downtown Toronto, and we totally make it our go-to whenever that sushi craving hits! The food here is genuinely amazing, and the menu is a dream for vegetarians and vegans—it’s packed with creative, delicious rolls using incredible faux-fish and soy proteins. While it’s majority plant-based, just a heads-up that a few dishes use egg, so you may want to double-check those options. Regardless, the sheer variety of delicious, meat-free sushi makes this a place we recommend to everyone.

Delicious food!
I didn’t take any pictures because we ate it too fast.
I will say the music they were playing was a little “calming massage music” and less of the kind of music I’d want to eat to, but not bad enough to take off a star :)

I have eaten at many, many sushi resstos across the GTHA and also across North America. You would not know that the meat products here are vegan. The flavours, textures, combinations, freshness, cleanliness, service... unmatched. This will be my go-to spot from now on!

This place is great
Decent vegan sushi! I loved being able to have everything and not have to worry about it not being vegan. Not the best vegan sushi I’ve had but affordable, cleanly, nice service. We had the spicy salmon sushi, spider maki (my favourite!), queen roll, unagi sushi and mock duck (great texture!). The combinations we order were a bit too sweet so I look forward to mixing it up next time.

Ordered takeout twice. The oyster mushroom, and yam tempura special rolls. Both were delicious both times.
