I ordered the green curry, but instead got a white curry which is not even on the menu. They literally counted four pieces of chicken and gave me that. When I paid well over $15 dollars for that. You’re better off buying the ingredients from t&t and making it yourself. Would’ve given zero stars if possible. Please don’t waste your money here.

I ordered red curry what I got was plain white rice with literally 3 Peices of tiny chicken and some garbage looking curry….. pls save your money and do not eat from this garbage place. The other reviews says it all…….

Worst ever shrimp Thai fried rice. The rice isn’t cooked well; half cooked. No taste as fried rice, really dry fried rice. Highly recommend do not try any food from this particular Thai Express. The service is even worse.

I ordered Green curry chicken…I was surprised when I got the food, the size of the container is so small, and the food was too salty and has no juice or sauce on the rice … very disappointing, I have many times green curry chicken from other Thai express locations, but the Fairview food court location very very disappointing.

Thai express is a hit or a miss depending on which location you go to. The one at eaton center was absolutely terrible, the food was really bad there. Since then, I haven’t gone back. but yesterday I saw an ad that tickled my cravings for Thai express, so I decided to get lobster pad Thai and eggplant beef stir fry. I was a bit taken back with the cost of 2 meals, since it came out to $40+?? When I got home, I had the meal with my fiancé, and it was actually really good, like how it used to be back when I used to get Thai express as a student 10 years ago. I guess I got lucky with the chef. He was very sweet too, made sure I had everything I needed. They give you quite a bit of lobster which I was surprised, and although the new take out box looked small, they fill the food to the very top so it was a good portion. Although I still think it’s gotten pretty expensive for what it is (I used to pay 12$ for the same thing…), and I probably wont be back for a while, I appreciated the nostalgia it took me and my fiancé back during our student years when Thai express used to be good and reasonably priced.

The worst when you feel like they just scam. Understandably they are just employees, the owners of this location should open the reviews to read and learn why this location is dead.

Their daily specials that are advertise is 14.88 daily combo that has a different meal per week. Cashier says they don't follow that here. I paid $16 something for just the padthai that is just basically noodle half of the original take out box not much of the veggies and eggs that use to be in this dish is not there. On top of that she gave me $2 less in change. That's crazy.

This was the worst Beef Basil Spicy Fried Rice that I have had from Thai Express located in the food court in Fairview Mall. It was the first time I have bought food from that location. It was utterly disgusting. No taste, or seasoning and it had exactly 7 tiny pieces of beef in it. So disappointing, considering the beef is what you're really paying more for. I have bought this item before from the Promenade Mall, Centre Point Mall, (although it no longer in that mall) and from the Finch Station where the professional businesses are located. Never had any complaints about those locations. Beef Basil Spicy Fried Rice from Thai Express is my favourite dish from that place. I'm so pissed off that I wasted my money today at the Fairview Mall location. It obviously has a lot to do with chef/cook.

Horrible tasteless food. We spent 35$ here and all the noodles and veg were SOGGY and drowning in salty soy sauce and watery soup. The Thai green curry was like deep fried scraps from the garbage bin. Definitely not Thai food, even by food court standards. I tried complaining but they didn’t understand English. Don’t waste your money here.

The staff went from squeezing raw meat to cooking the food without using gloves. Took a few minutes after payment to even begin cooking. The portion size only filled just over half the container. $16 for some chicken pad thai that is equivalent to a $13 meal at adjacent stores.
