I can’t call it ‘food’. I ordered General Thai Beef on rice. It is $18 and the taste? It is disgusting and it is not edible. I am not sure what taste this exactly is. It is way too sweet, but too much of black pepper taste along with spiciness? It tastes so weird and disgusting, i hope i can get a refund.
The beef is very thin but it is wrapped in thick batter. There are only 8 pieces of beef and the rest below is all rice, with little bit of onions, mango(?) slices and carrots. Save your $$.

Food taste is satisfactory and the portion sizes are pretty good. I got the Pad See Ew and it was pretty solid, made me full. Employees were polite and food came quickly. The issue is that it gave me food poisoning. If you have a long flight ahead of you I wouldn't risk it

We had a layover at Pearson Airport, and since our son has celiac disease, we were feeling uneasy as this was our first time traveling. The staff were very accommodating and offered several gluten-free options. I informed the staff member about his celiac condition, and she made sure to notify the kitchen.
It was a relief to have a safe food option for him, especially since traveling can already be stressful. The only downside was the price—his chicken Pad Thai cost $18.

My return to Canada was greeted by what I was hoping to be a tasty bowl of Thai food. Instead it was a glaring reminder that so many Canadian restaurants simply flavour with too much sugar or salt or fat. This time it was way too much sugary sauce. I couldn't taste the veggies or beef given how much sugar sauce there was. Too bad.

I ordered Pad Thai, but I got something that looked like Pad Thai. It didn't taste like Pad Thai, but it wasn't bad.

Not only are you paying $20 for a bowl of pad Thai or in my case, pad soup they also charge $.60 extra for the “bowl” and they don’t give you the limes or peanuts that’s PART of the meal. Lol 👌🏼

Unbelievable poor quality food for a chain restaurant. I ate at other That Express locations before, it was OK. This time I had a misfortune of ordering food from Thai Express at Pearson while waiting for a flight. Ordered Pad Thai and Tom Yum. Neither my wife nor me could finish what we ordered, had to throw it to garbage. It was so bad it felt it was made like that on purpose.

So average. The green curry was lumpy, tasteless, and slopped onto half-cooked white rice. I won't be surprised if I get sick from it. I get that it's airport food, but this was pathetic. It's only saving grace was that they used a decent amount of tofu. For $17 though, this was a total waste of money.
The staff were friendly, but the food was awful. Definitely choose somewhere else if you need a bite in Toronto airport.

I love Thai express, but this is the whole new level. Pad se ew with as little protein as possible, only extra egg was helping a bit. And almost no vegetables.

Mr.Chef is amazing.
Food tastes fresh and good.
I had Chicken Soup with Battered Beef. Hot and fresh.
Seats are crowded but that's probably the Monday effect.

They take forever to make your food. Like 40 min wait time regardless of the line. Because theyre not even organized and dont go by order they make whomever order they want to make and it doesnt matter if you were waiting before another. The cashiers are barely there you gotta alwyas order on the machine and remind them you ordered or they wont even make your food.
