Ordered pad thai once from this place and the chicken was burnt, literally charred. I thought, maybe it was a one off mistake - ordered again another day and the pad Thai was sooooo DRY, it’s like they barely put any sauce in it. Not like any other Thai express I’ve been to. A shame, would not recommend - save your money and go elsewhere.

Probably the worst thai express i’ve had. Not sure if they used different recipe or what. But it just doesn’t look like the typical general thai you would get at other locations. The taste is just not good.

Ordered chicken red curry but it was more like yellow curry. Instead of red bell pepper, they have added green bell pepper and the curry was more on the sweeter side without any flavour. I have tried Thai express before but this place is not serving actual Thai express food.

Extortionate pricing for mediocre food with small portion sizes. Ive never not regretted spending money here. Workers are very nice though.

The blandest Thai food I have ever tasted. I’ve tried multiple dishes and everything has no flavour whatsoever and tastes burnt. Chicken is so dry. Couldn’t even eat it. Not worth $16.

There seems to be some favouritism going on here as my vegetable pad thai was given a lower priority that other people who were behind me and acted as if ‘they were in a rush’I do not like that attitude

Writing this review as I eat. Ordered veg fried rice and the rice is very hard and not cooked. You have to chew a lot otherwise expect digestion issues. Couldn’t eat at all. What a waste. Not again. For me, quantity is not an issue it’s the quality that lacks.

Thai Express is one of my childhood favourites and still is to this day; it hasn't disappointed me after all the years. There's a great variety of authentic Thai dishes from soups to rice to noodles to stir-fry and curries. The only downside is that there are few locations left.My go-to dish is the Pad See Ew ($15.58) which is a wide flat noodle dish with soy, egg, and Chinese broccoli-- delectable! They don't go overboard with the oil so it's not a greasy dish like some Thai to-go places I've experienced. I also favour their curries ($15.58) which are aromatic and fulfilling.

Very small portions of vegetables and protein compared to other locations in the GTA. Rice was at least a day old and quite hard. For a $17 meal you expect better but this was not always the case here. Before the pandemic this was my favorite Thai Express but it has gone downhill since reopening unfortunately.
