The Alpine is a lively bar located in Toronto's Junction area, offering a cozy and rustic ambiance paired with an energetic vibe. My companion and I visited on a late Saturday evening and were seated right away.

We tried the Steak Sandwich ($26), Honey Garlic Wings, and Tuna Ceviche ($16). While the steak sandwich was acceptable, the tuna ceviche felt a bit too watery, and the crostini was a little too hard for my preferences. The honey garlic wings, though decent, had a very mild honey garlic taste.

Our server was friendly, and efficient. She checked in on us just the right number of times, making the service feel attentive but not overbearing.

The Alpine isn't wheelchair accessible. The main entrance is narrow, and there are a few steps to go up before reaching the seating area. A fun note is that they offer karaoke every Friday night from 9 PM to 2 am.

Overall, The Alpine offers a great atmosphere for a casual night out, but some of the dishes could use a little refinement.

Wheelchair accessibility: Not wheelchair accessible. Need to go up a few steps a access main dining area

What a wonderful surprise. In what used to be a dive bar, the Alpine is a charming restaurant with comfortable booths and really great food. The service is excellent and did I mention the food is really great? Not only is it great but it’s different and interesting. I’m really impressed.

Nice service and place but I was sick after tasting my dish. I had pierogies and the cabbage gave me a stomach ache. Unfortunately I do not recommend this in any case, not for this dish.

Always have a great time coming here. The staff is great and always accommodates our fairly large group. Food is always great, and the beer list is amazing. Love the steins.

The prices actually include tax, which they should mention as everything's slightly cheaper than it appears!

Awesome beer selection. Food is top notch, most definately not your usual bar slop.

Cosy modern and a great atmosphere. My new junction go to!

Good atmosphere, neat little bar in the junction of Toronto. Wide selection of drinks and cocktails + seasonal specials. Did not have food but from the other tables it looked delicious.

Cocktail I had was a play on a Caesar, with habanero and a few other items, wasn't my favorite, but still was presented nice

Friendly servers, looking forward to coming back.

Burger was bland and I recommend against anything that is not fried. Beet salad was mostly spring salad drenched in oil and white vinegar. There was an attempt at fancy by including pickled rhubarb, pickled too long in cheap vinegar. Roasted beets tasted like boiled beets. I’m posting this just in case i think of the restaurant again.

We waited outside for a seat in the patio and sat down on a table that hasn’t been cleared yet because it was the only available table and we were tired. Server comes and yells that we can’t be sitting down before he cleans the table. Not a very welcoming experience and so we decided to go across to Hole in the Wall instead. A very off putting and disrespectful experience so don’t think we’ll be coming back again.

We found this place by fluke, but couldn’t be happier. We are absolutely coming back! The Alpine board was delicious. German food with a flare, and so well done. Absolutely worth the trip. Adrienne was our server, a spectacular energy and person!
