The owner and soul barista was exceptional a one man wonderful multitasker. Very pleasant and a true gentleman. Well versed and knowledgeable of all areas on anarchism. The books, stickers, t-shirt and bags were all unique and the atmosphere was filled with a groovy vibes with its set playlist.

At first, the café seemed inviting, but I quickly encountered extreme signs spreading hate towards certain groups. I felt uncomfortable and even fearful being there. It's one thing to share opinions, but another to encourage hate and violence. My conversation with the owner was deeply troubling, as their views were both disturbing and incited violence to push an agenda. No café should make customers feel afraid. If you're looking for a place that respects and promotes tolerance, it's best to avoid this one

Love this place! It's my local cafe, unlike some of the other reviewers who live out of country and have never been. They sell Bad Atritude baked goods, a vegan line from toronto that has sweet and savory goods. They are great! I've also bought countless bday gifts from here. Books, shirts, mugs. Lots of great options. Highly recommend dropping in.
I appreciate that this is a business that puts people before profit. I recognize that it's not in the taste of all patrons, though I doubt that that's for sake of the patrons or population, but greater an impact of the capitalist paradigm we are all institutionalized within, and it's echoing propaganda. There is a deeply hate driven movement that surrounds us all, is selfish and profit motivated, insecure, and striving towards superiority. This cafe stands in direct opposition to that, so as such, those who feel challenged by it will reflect that threat as sorts. The heart of this cafe and spirit speaks for itself, no matter its capacity to deliver service effectively. Didn't they say it's the thought that counts? In an inherently traumatized society, by extension of the destructive forces it's founded on, we must promote compassion and grace towards one another, especially when striving towards such indiscriminate acts of vulnerability, as these. This space is a community hub where all in love are welcomed. This space is a beacon that gives me hope. I am grateful to know that if I can't afford a very good coffee, that I have somewhere to go.
