Horrible customer service. A simple question about a allergy accommodation was met with a rude and dismissive response. If staff can’t handle a basic allergy question respectfully and take it seriously, this isn’t a place I’d feel safe dining as a person with severe allergies. Despite claiming they can accommodate food allergies, I was treated very rudely when asking. There are many friendly, accommodating restaurants that are allergy-conscious — Bean Sprout is not one of them.

Although the location is somewhat different, the food here is phenomenal - for someone with Celiac concerns, they are by far the best.
We drive all the way from Barrie when we crave Chinese take out - definitely recommend!

Large variety of delicious, gluten-free food. They really figured out how to make things crispy and light without gluten. They also have their own frozen food you can prepare at home (It turns out great!). Highly recommend it, and everyone that works there is incredibly nice!

So delicious! Friendly staff! Super helpful and informative. Atmosphere was nice! I definitely recommend as a person with allergens to come here! I have Celiac and this was one of the best experiences for every aspect! I ordered, Honey Chicken, General Tao Chi, Steam Rice, Chicken Ball, Chicken Fried Rice. As you can tell we enjoyed eating here! Thank you from someone who has Celiac.

I really enjoyed the food. It was my first experience and will not be my last. From all that I ordered, I would say hands down the best chili chicken I've ever tasted. The plus of course that it is gluten-free.

Ignore all the 1 stars. The food here is truly amazing for anyone with celiac or allergies. My child is anaphylactic (I mean ER epipen/steroids etc) to dairy, wheat, oat, rye, barley, egg, peanut and tree nuts. She can eat multiple different asian foods here without issue or stress! The owners are caring and amazing, and truly want anyone with dietary restrictions to be able to eat freely. This is a mom and pop restaurant, where the food taste genuine and you could never tell no allergens were in it. Because it's a family business, you won't get the high end, good looking female hostesses that you may see at some other chains/restaurants, so I suspect that's what the one star reviews were about. But if you want genuine chinese food, that is great value, good portion sizes and free of allergens, come here.. oh and buy the frozen stuff to take home too! we do.

Bought a bunch of their food for a get together for Father’s Day and it was delicious and served with a smile. Very friendly staff, and quality food. Would definitely recommend and return.
