Food was ok. As soon as I arrived, my server reminded me we only had the table for 1.5hrs. That's not something I want to be welcomed with when I visit a restaurant, especially on my birthday. Near the end of our time, our server made us feel uncomfortable by constantly looking at our table like he wanted to kick us out. He even offered to bring our bills. Never going to these quaint restos again to have some catch up with my girls because time is too limited. They make you feel like a transaction only, not genuine guests.

A wonderful restaurant experience. A cozy and warm inviting atmosphere. The food has always been an incredible experience, I especially love the mushrooms and fish. The drinks are really tasty and refreshing. I ordered the "Flirty French" last time I was there and it was super delicious! The owner is very friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend this restaurant if you are in the Beaches area or East End of Toronto.

One of only a couple of go-tos on Kingston Rd. The food is always incredible, with their special fall salad with squash, soft white cheese, raisin dressing being a stand-out. Make sure to try the warm mushroom appy with wild rice as well as it's quite unique. Also, you can't go wrong with $12-13 cocktails from their extensive list...the black walnut manhattan is a must-try. Will of course be back!

Lovely place for cosy dinner. Food is fab. Service impeccable. House made charcuterie meat & cheese is delicious. Braised lamb shoulder is rich and the crab sausage with calamari is devine. Try their special cocktails.

What a little gem this restaurant is. Great food. I had the braised lamb in a rich tasty gravy. Others had duck, crab, and chicken. Nothing but praise for the food from everyone. As delightful as the food was, the prices were even more delightful. Possibly the most reasonable prices I have seen in a while for this quality. Highly recommend this restaurant.
This place melts my heart. Delaney, the beautiful server girl. What a big cute and heart touching smile on her face when prepping my table. It’s been years since I went to a place and felt this level of caring service. Also the drinks are unique and the owner is a very good man, I can tell. You can’t go wrong with this place, Unique. Caring. Wonderful food. Love it! I will come back again and again.

Absolute gem of a place. Atmosphere is cozy, service is excellent and the food is exceptional. The seafood special is always fresh and wonderful, the duck is tender and delicious, and the flourless chocolate cake is insanely good. Highly recommended.

I had braised lamb shoulder, it was so good . it’s a bit salty for me but still my favourite dish 10/10. My boyfriend love the grilled duck breast . For steak i prefer it to be more rare. Overall great food with reasonable price and chill vibe, i will definitely comeback to try other items on menu

It’s fine, but after a couple of visits I don’t think I’ll be back, as the list of small flaws is too long. Duck and steak were both drastically overcooked. Server sprayed Lysol on adjacent upwind table on the patio. Pint glass wasn’t clean.
I see Beech Tree and Greta Solomon’s as similar restaurants, and although Greta Solomon’s is a bit more expensive, it’s a lot better. I would rather pay $36 for a perfectly executed bavette steak than $27 for an overdone stringy sirloin.
