We had NYE dinner. Starter, the scallop sausage would have been great but my Onion had a skin on it. Main gnocchi was fine apart from the panko. The dessert was rushed out right after the main and as it had ice cream you couldn't put off eating it. The bill was brought without my asking for it. So overall a nice atmosphere, alright food and rushed service.

We had a fantastic dinner at the Beech Tree! The warm olives and walnuts and the roasted mushrooms were a perfect way to start the meal! The steak was cooked perfectly and the sauces were a great match! The apple cake dessert was generous and full of flavor! Will be back to this the Beech Tree many times!

The roasted mushroom with black rice and labneh is the best of the best. What an amazing combination of flavours.
Last night, my wife and I tried this spot for the first time, and we were truly blown away. There’s a lot to say about how good this restaurant is.
I’ll start with the service it was very warm and friendly. The staff made themselves present, but not overly so; it was done very nicely.
The atmosphere hit. The low-key background music was on point not too loud, and at an appropriate level so you could still easily converse. A lit candle on the table and those Montreal vibes made it perfect.
Now, the food. We started with the meat and cheese platter. Honestly, that’s the most nerve-racking order because you never know what meats and cheeses will be brought out at restaurants. This place didn’t miss. It was different from your average charcuterie or meat-and-cheese board, but everything was really good.
Then I got the duck and calamari for my main. The plating was done beautifully there were only a few things on the plate, but they all complemented each other perfectly. I’d definitely get that again.
My wife had the beef short rib… no words. So good. I had a few bites, and it blew my mind. Again, everything worked so well together 100% recommend that dish.
Side note: they had $9 cocktails when we were there which is very good price for the city.

Amazing experience! We were turned away from another place down the street who claimed to have vegan options but then did not, and stumbled here with no reservation. We were very kindly welcomed in and told that they could come up with something vegan (and nut free), no problems. Service was attentive and welcoming, and what they made for me off menu was absolutely delicious! I was incredibly impressed, it was a very memorable and fantastic meal especially for something just whipped up! Will definitely be back. So impressed!

My friends and I usually do a monthly dinner at a different place all the time and one of my friends found this place.
We looked at the menu and it looked really good. Short menu easy to order. We ordered everything off the menu except for the salad and walnuts. And everything was amazing from the appetizers all the way down to the end of. We almost ordered desserts because everything was so amazing. But our stomachs were too full.
One of my friends said it's so hard to choose what is not good. All the apps were so nice. Presentation was nice. The food was really good. And the mains we ordered everything from doc, lamb, steak, fish of the day, and pork. The steak was so soft and juicy cooked medium rare. It was so nice. The Nike was one of my friends favorite. Out of all of it. The pork shoulder. It was so soft. It was crazy.
If you come here unless you're really feeling a burger I would highly suggest to get something other than the burger. The Patty was very soft and falling off and it was very good just like a smashburger. But if you're coming here and you're only getting one main get the other eye items because it is so amazing.
Service was also top notch. Always refilling our Waters giving us a new bottle whenever it was empty. Changing our plates and cutlery. Ensuring our table was clean after it was finished. Five stars
