The first time I went here I loved it, but last night was so-so. Our server was not very attentive and it was so hot our whole table was really uncomfortable by the end so rushed to get out of there. Piano guy is cool, though, and food is good.
This is an outstanding restaurant! My friend and I had a long leisurely dinner on a recent Friday night in the winter. The food was excellent and the service was attentive and friendly. We did not feel rushed and were able to have a long conversation, since it was not overly noisy. It is a bit pricey, but worth the quality. Well done!
Great atmosphere. The live piano and interior really sets a nice tone for a date or catch up with friends. Service was solid and so was the food. Found the value to be very reasonable. I'll be back, if you haven't been, book it.
Visited Berczy Tavern for their weekly Sunday Roast special and it delivered. We started with the $2 shrimp cocktail — large shrimp, perfectly poached with that clean snap when you bite in. The cocktail sauce had the right balance of tang and heat. Great value starter. The signature prime rib (ordered medium) was properly cooked and well rested. Served with duck fat Yorkshire pudding, mashed potatoes, roasted cauliflower and carrots, plus rich au jus and horseradish on the side — this is comfort food done right. Balanced, satisfying, and executed confidently. We weren't planning on dessert, but the banana bread pudding changed that. Absolutely worth it. The Sunday special also includes half‑price bottles of wine and half‑price top shelf martinis, which significantly boosts the overall value. Ratings: Taste: 4.8 / 5 Value: 4 / 5 Service: 4 / 5 Busy spot with strong energy. Definitely worth returning for the Sunday roast — just remember reservations need to be made by Friday at 5 PM to secure a table. Our meal was fantastic and our server was lovely. Thank both to the owner and server for all you do. Delightful experience !!!!
Enjoyed the Valentine's Day menu and the live piano music. Feed and service were amazing. Will be back!
My girlfriend and I were both happy that we had chosen to spend our Valentine's brunch at the Berczy. The music was great. The entire staff was friendly and welcoming. We both absolutely loved our meals. The eggs Benedict and the waffles were both delicious. We will definitely be returning.
Generally everything was excellent. We had one issue with one fish but it was handled graciously and certainly to our satisfaction. Noise was not too bad but there was no music and only the front was occupied. We will go back.
Very attentive and friendly service, great food and the restaurant was surprisingly quiet for the amount of people dining. Helped that they didn't have music blaring, just the wonderful piano player entertaining us. The space is still has lovely as when Le Papillion was in the same space, thankfully! Well done Berzcy!!
What a pleasant surprise! The food, the live music, the service from Connor was exceptional. Everyone working genuinely seemed to enjoy working there with a happy heart!

This was definitely a 5 star dining experience. Our server was very personable and attentive. The food was excellent. I had the duck. Highly recommended. I had never been before and took some out of town guests. We all thoroughly enjoyed it.
We went for Sunday Roast and it must have been in small print but they don't do the roast at lunch. Sunday roast is a lunch meal! The restaurant is noisy and the piano bar on a sound system. Food was good but the curry in the butter on the steak frites was a weird pairing that didn't work for me. Brunch food we saw at other tables looked delicious but we went salivating for a Christmas Sunday Roast!
Friend walked in and mentioned the reservation, hostess immediately acted like it was an inconvenience and told him he had to be out in 2 hours for the next sitting. That put a damper on the entire experience so we ate quickly and left. I won't be returning to support this establishment, sadly.
Christini was an excellent server! Amazing vibes for Christmastime. The food was scrumptious! We had a lovely date night! :)
Great atmosphere, ambiance, and drinks. Food was good, however my scallop entree consisted of '6' scallops and califlower and sauce, the scallops being halved was dissappointing, value for cost was not there considering it costed $38 for 2-3 scallops posing as 6 as advertised. I should have ordered a burger with fries. Otherwise, great spot, great ambiance, great service...our server was attentive, friendly and served with purpose.
