It’s always a great atmosphere at The Berczy Tavern. The selection of drinks and food options are always great. The steak tartare and the steak is just phenomenal. The best part of our visits either just a friends hang out or our corporate events is based on how well Malu looks after us. She really takes the time to know us all and ensures everyone has a great time. We have made it a staple location thanks to her and look forward to many more visits.

This wasn’t our first visit to the Berczy as we live in the neighbourhood but it might have been our last. We were there to celebrate my son’s 25th birthday. Our reservation said we were celebrating a birthday and when ordering dessert we specially referred to him as the birthday boy. No acknowledgment. Not even a candle on his dessert. It was a huge let down. My husband is turning 60 next week and I won’t be taking him to the Bercy for that occasion, that’s for sure!

This place is great! Went for my birthday and was treated to a complimentary glass of bubbly! All the food was delicious but the steak tartare and lamb rack were the standouts with the lobster pasta in a close third. The restaurant is lovely inside and out server was kind and helpful without being overbearing. There was live music the night I went that was just okay, the piano was nice but the mic could have been turned down a notch or two. Will definitely come back for a nice dinner soon!!

The duck with fried sage is exquisite. The rib eye steak could be the best in the city. Seabreem, beef cheek, scallops, steak tartare, bone marrow... the menu is splendid. The live piano lounge singer raises the intimacy, decor and table settings are well appointed, atmosphere is infinitely welcoming. My go-to in the area, and among my favourite restaurants.
Sunday roast was like home! Vidper cocktail magnificent, and Jeremy our server singlehandedly restored my faith in customer service in this city. Can't wait to go again and catch the piano bar.

This is hands down the best experience in Toronto. The building is beautiful, the atmosphere is stunning, and the staff are absolutely incredible (special shoutout to Karen, Chrissy, and Jeremy!) Every dish was outstanding: the lobster roll, chicken liver mousse, lamb, banana bread pudding… the list goes on. Truly one of the best dinners your money can buy ☺️
