Overpriced for what you get. Overhyped as well. The made to order cones are delicious though.

Good ice cream, the cone was super fresh, just out of the waffle maker! Quite pricey though and not as flavourful as I thought. I asked to try first, and the server gave me to try several, thanks for that!

The Big Chill has earned the title of our favorite ice cream spot in the city, and for good reason. Their extensive menu boasts over 30 flavors, ensuring there’s something for every craving. The aesthetic of the place adds to the charm—it’s literally cow central, which adds a playful and unique touch to the experience. We’ve tried cones, milkshakes, and sundaes, and each item has been absolutely delicious. Our personal favorite is their “Super Kid” flavor, a nostalgic treat that takes us back to childhood with its amazing taste. If you’re looking for a delightful ice cream experience with a wide variety of flavors and a fun ambiance, The Big Chill is the place to go.

We had a group of 8 people buying ice creams... Everyone bought something for themselves but I wasn't sold on the flavour. As soon as I asked for a third taster, the server immediately got rude and refused to give a taster... The way he said it was the problem... Instead of explaining a policy nicely, his attitude was of looking down on me like I wasn't going to buy it... The server had pretty bad attitude... Ice cream was great... From what my other friends told me of their flavours... But i was so put off by the server I didn't get anything

The place is super cute and the staff seemed nice, but my friends and I agreed that this was some of the worst ice cream we’ve ever had.

Went to a kids' birthday party here. What a marvelous day. Pizza and ice cream a kid's dream lunch! Small arcade room in back. I can't say enough about the staff!!!! They are perfect for the job, so much fun and no fuss. For anyone wondering what to do for their child's birthday....look no further than The Big Chill.

Proper ice cream shop with a host of delicious flavours to tempt all tastes. Old fashioned treats available such as banana splits, sundaes, ice cream topped waffles, shakes and floats. Retro vibe with amusing cow centred décor makes for a fun time for all ages. Cash or debit only.

A very underwhelming experience. Not sure if new owners took over. Service was not great...it seemed like the staff there wasn't very eager in serving their customers (at least 2/3 of the staff appeared to be grumpy and displeased with just taking the order). The waffle cone was stale and the ice cream was also not filled to the top or bottom...which meant that there was practically a lot of empty space and minimal ice cream with a stale waffle cone. This was also the case with two other friends I went with. The flavour and taste of the ice cream was just from a catering company/all you can eat cheap buffet style ice cream. There is also no test tasting, whereas other higher end gelato shops are willing to provide that. Very overpriced for that kind of quality, and will definitely not be going back...

It's really really cute in here. It's hard not to stop by as you walk down the street because the smell of freshly made waffle cones drifts through the air. They have many flavours and lots of options (cups, cones, floats, shakes, waffles, etc) but they're a little pricey. A single scoop in a cup costs around $6. They don't sample which sucks if you're not sure what something tastes like but maybe it's because they get really busy. They also only accept debit and cash.

The flavours and waffle cone was okay, nothing special. Based on price and taste, wouldn't visit again. It was $16+ for two cones (1 flavour each)

If I could rate this experience a 0 out of 10. I would. I went in tonight with my partner and we kindly ordered a waffle. The guy looked at us and his face dropped. He didn’t even take my order before he started the one waffle and started slamming the batter and machine loudly. The other gentleman (who was kind) took my order and told him to make one for me too. Then his attitude got worse and when he gave us our food he slammed it and turned around. After I said thank you, he was very grumpy. The one worker was great but the other guy was extremely rude and kinda ruined my night so that I don’t even feel happy to be eating this food (that I heard great reviews on).
