Had a lovely lunch with the hubby for his birthday. We had the baked Brie platter to start and it was incredible. Then we shared the ravioli. Delicious! Can’t wait to come back.
Nice patio and good food
While taking a course downtown four of us had dinner here every week for three months. The main menu has a variety of classics and each day there are three specials to choose from. We often had the same waiter, Jaimie, who was great. The owner is very friendly too.
Food was disappointing, service was perfunctory and we were seated at a table beside the bar with no view despite the place having a sparce number of patrons inside. Washrooms were down a rickety set of stairs difficult for people with mobility issues
Nice chilled location to enjoy some food in between exploring the city. Friendly and polite staff. A very good menu with choices for everyone
Very nice outside eating area and the food was DELICIOUS!
Fantastic food. Stephen was our server and was amazing. Don’t live in Toronto but will definitely eat here again next visit.
Had chicken parm on soaghetti. Was really good. Had a home made feel to it.
A great dish.

Food was good but nothing extraordinary. The steak was a bit chewy. But the restaurant allowed our dog to sit with us on the patio and the overall vibes and the service was excellent! Lots of locals and regulars.

Came for the Thanksgiving turkey special. The turkey was phenomenal, juicy, with terrific gravy and sides. The mashed potatoes were among the tastiest I'd eaten in Toronto. It is always a joy to discover fantastic new restaurants outside of one's neighbourhood.

I wanted to celebrate Thanksgiving with a friend. I'm so glad we decided to go to The Blake House to have their Thanksgiving dinner. The staff were warm and welcoming. The ambience in this beautifully restored heritage building was relaxed and cozy. And the Thanksgiving dinner was absolutely delicious!! Everything looked so festive and was beautifully presented: both white meat and dark meat were offered in a generous portion on top of a moist dressing. The gravy tasted home made. And the cranberry sauce tasted fresh and home made as well.
The vegetables were all fresh and the mashed potatoes were creamy and delicious! And the caramel pecan cheesecake was a wonderful finish to a most enjoyable meal!

Our little gang of cancer treatment patients residing at the Princess Margaret Lodge bonded and decided to have dinner out together. We picked the Blake House and we were not disappointed! The food and the service were wonderful..the owner and staff so welcoming. Thank you for making our evening so enjoyable!!
