Had a great experience at The Blake house . The food is amazing and I personally love the spinach and mushroom ravioli. The staff is very friendly and polite and they also have the brunch on the weekends and would suggest everyone reading this to come by for drinks and food . And also for the desserts .

Went to the Blake House yesterday for brunch, to celebrate a friend's 70th birthday. Had been there many years ago, and I remember being disappointed back then. Yesterday was no different. My spouse had the breakfast, it was OK, pretty hard to destroy breakfast. The birthday boy had the burger. I ordered the fish and chips. Upon presentation it looked good. However looks can be disieving. The batter looked crunchy, however it wasn't. Wet and undercooked. The fish was extremely wet and watery. Should have returned it, however the waiter was creepy, in the fact that he was constantly being flirtatious and it was just annoying. As I don't venture into Toronto on regular basis, chances are they won't get a chance for their 3rd strike.

I have been trying for years to find a good brunch spot that does shredded hash browns - and the Blake House exceeded my expectations. Crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy on the inside. The veggie omelette was also perfectly cooked, without any browning on the egg and exceptionally tender and gooey in the right way. The breakfast sausage and bacon were also done exactly how I like and the service was warm and kind. Cannot recommend a better experience.

We descended on the Blake House a loud group of 12 or so coming and going and the staff were just SO great with us. We had finger foods, nachos (made with potato chips? but ok!) French fries etc.. I didn't get a chance for pics but good food, great location, superior staff! Thank you Blake House!! 🫶🏻

We traveled on vacation from the US and found ourselves in town on Thanksgiving. The Blake house had us all taken care of with a Holiday Dinner. Great service attentive staff. On a busy day. The food was very good.

Was friends the previous owners years ago when it was the red lion, it's still a nice restaurant with good food in a beautiful old mansion on Jarvis . Nice old trees surrounding the property i would definitely recommend The Blake house to my friends, has a nice atmosphere and the staff are very nice.

Once a year, they open on Monday — Thanksgiving Monday. The turkey special is a lot of food, and truly fantastic. Better than my grandmother used to cook. And that’s saying something!

The thanksgiving meal was absolutely stunning! A must get if you’re not going to or making a big thanksgiving dinner and just want to do something easy while getting that comfort factor. Tender white and dark meat, good portions, potato was nicely seasoned, nice veg… everything tasted homemade in the best way possible!
