Food was really good for lunch and loved the atmosphere! Service good too! But $5 plus tax for one (regular) tea bag was wild to me!!!! Food was delicious though, good portions too, so I have to give five stars !
We were pleasantly surprised and impressed with the ambience and attention to detail at the Broadview. It was beautifully remodeled, but still had unique historic detail and touches everywhere. Our room was perfect and included a record player and a vinyl library on our floor! I appreciate things like the well stocked mini bar and quality toiletries. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful. There was a water shut down issue on the street that was completely out of the hotels control and they compensated us with a discount, even though it was not their fault. It had really cozy and charming Christmas vibes too! We cannot wait to go back.
I would like to recommend this place. It is efficient and attractive with attentive friendly staff and good food. It is ideal for brunch as you can reserve a table and avoid a line up. I think it is good value.

My friends and I had a lovely Christmas brunch. Such good coffee, cheerful service! It was a bit noisy so we were moved to a quieter spot which was perfect.
Atmosphere is lovely, food was great, incredibly slow service when it wasn't busy and then ignored once the volume ramped up.
Beautiful spot! We booked it because we could make a reservation for brunch for a larger group and the food looked good. The food was generally very good but the huevos rancheros was very small portions. Just two small tacos with no sides. Adding a salad or potatoes would have gone a long way. The service was not great. Our food arrived before most people at the table even got their coffees, and that was not saying the food was fast. Most servers didn't seem to know what was going on, and would regularly forget to do things for us. But overall I'd probably try the place again.
Great lunch at the bistro. Spent 3hrs there. Didn't feel rushed. Definitely recommend, and would go back.
I was disappointed by the service we got here. I made a reservation a month in advance for four people and then changed it to 5 people a week in advance and we were sat at a table of four and needed to wait another 10 minutes for a table that could fit our group. We saw our waiter twice: once when he placed our order and once when food was cleared. We were sat for 20 minutes before he took our order and never checked in to see how the food was. Additionally, I put in my booking notes that it was my birthday and it was clear it was birthday as presents were out and the waiter didn't even wish me a happy birthday or show any interest. You would expect a place like this to offer you a free dessert - I've had small, family run restaurants and chain restaurants do this for friends. Overall a disappointing experience, I wouldn't go back.
Service staff need to be more attentive. Slight spilling of beverages at the table and more on top of what is going on. Food was good. Nice space if quiet. .

Second timing coming to the Broadview. Absolutely love dining here the first time. It's extremely nice coming a second time and still being in Awe. The food was amazing! Additionally the staff is extremely nice and welcoming. Every member a part of our dining experience ensured we were okay and satisfied.
I like coming here with my friend monthly. Recently we came and the staff that usually serves us was amazing as always but the new staff was kind of rude and just turned the experience a bit negative. We were told we needed to leave our table because we were approaching a time limit- something that was never a problem in the past with the usual staff. In fact on past visits they would come by and ask if we wanted any refills or just come and chat, and tell us not to worry and that we didn't need to hurry. W e were also there at 10 for brunch and when I asked for a side of Home fries- the server double checked with me playing back my order and saying “fries” I corrected her saying home fries and in the end I got fries. Just didn't feel like the place we've been coming to. I do want to mention that the usual staff who would serve us did come by and say hi and that it was nice to see us again.
The Bistro room is quite beautiful. We were pleased with the menu items available and what we chose was prepared and served beautifully. Our servers were pleasant and very helpful. Highly recommend this restaurant for a pleasant experience.
I went there with family and friends, and the food was phenomenal. The servers were kind and friendly. The place was quite busy, so the service was a bit slow, and they were out of some items. However, they made up for it with delicious food. The salad was spot on, and the French toast was the cherry on top. The mushroom toast was also very tasty. I can’t wait to return and try many more items on the menu. Everything was perfect.
