Aside from the toast at breakfast, the food here is quite good. Multiple times, I have mentioned that one dot of butter, not spread across the toast, is not how I (and most likely other customers) like to eat toast. Today when I ordered, I requested toast with butter properly spread. What I received was toast thickly buttered - like 4x the amount of butter needed. (I don’t see an option for posting a photo, I wish I could) The last thing I want is passively aggressive prepared food. I live in the neighbourhood and really try to support the local restaurants but I don’t think I’ll be back. Edit: Sue, the excellent server, made new toast herself for me. She always works to make sure everyone is happy.

The Broadview Diner has done a great job at reviving this location on the corner of Broadview and Danforth. I love the speediness that I can order takeout with them. Difficult to find a seat for breakfast over the weekend but a well priced all day breakfast spot with an owner that really cares about his business.

Came in the first time since Flos Diner is no longer in business No expectations though it was a pleasant surprise, not only food was great, ordered the classic breakfast with scramble eggs, pea meal beacon and home fries, also the pancakes. Everything was great, top quality food (especially the pea meal beacon, not overly salty and very tender, well done) Service, again one waiter covers the entire restaurant but he managed so well, deserves a badge This will be my regular to go brunch from now on.
