This diner is local to me and I like coming here with my boyfriend, however the last visit we had wasn't great. I ordered the vegan breakfast with brown toast. Some time after receiving it, I realised the toast had butter on it. I am a server myself, and I'm very understanding about mishaps when dining out. However when talking to the lady, she gave me a condescending attitude and proceeded to teach me how to order my breakfast to make it vegan (the menu item is called...

Excellent place if you want to enjoy the fast paced of the outside but remain in a cool and friendly environment. Staff are absolutely lively and nice.
Location very convenient. Food is good and affordable for portion size.

I arrived on a Sunday morning around 10:30. I was staying at a homestay in the area and on my way to Pearson, with my rolling suitcase. The place was moderately busy when I arrived, with some tables open. I was quickly seated at a window table, with ample room to stow my suitcase out of the way. Service was quite prompt, pleasant, and attentive (with the exception of coffee refills). The servers understood about my hearing disability and seemed to have shared that info among themselves...
