Excellent burgers combined with an epic journey. It was a cold day (-26 with wind chill) yet I had no chill. I was hangry. I'm talking cranky women/wife/girlfriend who needs food an hour ago because she's HANGRY! Feed the demon!
I decided I wanted a burger. But not a chain store burger. I wanted something that was meaty, juicy and flavourful! (Still talking about burgers)
So chance and Google brought us here.
I ordered the the smoky š· pig. It had everything smothered in a delish BBQ sauce. Eating this was not a dainty affair...I didn't even sit down. I rolled up my sleeves and took on this physically demanding task. Every bite was an inoculation quickly curing the hangry gal living inside me. Flavourful and made perfectly.
I also witnessed my partner take on the namesake bulging burger. It was the dining version of a Hyrox / CrossFit Challenge. He was committed and forged through. He ate the whole half pound burger and is now napping.
The burger patties are flavourful and their burger toppings equally enjoyable.
Try the special feta fries.so tasty!!
Prepare to get messy(or ask for less sauce) and enjoy.

Ok I have tasted burgers around the world and can confirm that Bulging Burger has the best cheeseburger in Canada! The home made fries are excellent and portions are generous. What a nice change from the franchised rubbish out there. This is a warm family run business where the owner has over 35 years of experience as a chef!

The place kinda looks small but the food and service is amazing! Their burgers and handcut fries are fresh and made with love. I ordered couple of times already and I would say they are very consistent with the taste and portion. The staff/owner is very generous and accomodating too! I was hoping they could also open till midnight incase I want to order as a midnight snack lol

I was working in the area last Friday along with two colleagues of mine and we were ravenous as we worked right through lunch and hadnāt eaten since the morning. We decided that we wanted burgers and chose this spot based on the good reviews and it was 5 minutes from our job, in the direction of our homes. We got there at about 3:55pm and were saddened as we didnāt pay attention to the fact that they donāt open until 4pm. We were in the process of crossing the street to just eat at the nearest spot we could find and heard someone call out to us. It was the owner just coming in. Talk about perfect timing. He grilled us up some fresh burgers and fries that he makes in house himself and had our meals ready in just under 15 minutes. This is definitely a top 5 burger spot. I truly canāt remember the last time Iāve had such an excellent burger and the fries were amazing as well. Five Guys & those other chain burger spots donāt even hold a candle to The Bulging Burger if you really want a top quality and properly made burger. Theyāre a few seats if you want to sit and eat, but itās not a dine in type of spot. Donāt let that stop you though, because I bet most of those dine in spots donāt even come close.
What a wonderful burger place! The burgers were so tasty, with large portions and very good prices. They even have vegetarian options! The owner was also very nice. We will definitely come back :)

A small burger stand, family-run business that has absolutely delicious burgers! First time coming here, had the Mediterranean Burger which was one of the best I've had. The fries are hand cut and freshly made, also super delicious! Note: limited seating area, so best for takeouts.

A true handmade burger joint. You walk in, there is 1 guy, a counter, and not much else. You order, wait 15 minutes, and have the best burger of your life. It's that simple. There's not much in terms of comfortable seating inside, but that doesn't really matter in place like this.
I recommend any of the signature burgers.

I rarely eat out, and it is even more rare that I eat burgers. My husband and I were starving and walked past The Bulging Burger a few months ago but decided to go back and go inside. Delicious. Honestly. The portion sizes were also huge. I split the Jr Moo Moo with my daughter. Highly recommended for those who love a good burger with delicious fries.

We always leave happy and full. The owner is a great guy and his burgers are so filling and delicious. The fries have a great flavour too. The space is small inside but you have a window seat to the world of Queen Street, or if the weather is nice, grab it to go and enjoy it on the RC Harris hill overlooking the lake. Great picnic treat :)
Was there on Sat, 26 , appr 2 while I was at the beach. I ordered a burger and a poutine. I realized when I got to my car, I was given a frie instead of the poutine . I went back, owner apologized and proceed to place the order for the poutine. When it was done, he gave it to me free ā¦I offered to pay but he insistedā¦ Now , that was good customer service, someone that valued a customer . The food was excellent ā¦ all home cut thin fries. Burger was to die for and My cousin said it was the best poutine she ever tasted (from U.S.) I definitely will be back and will spread the word ā¦ itās been a hidden secret.Thank youš
