My wife and I came here for our anniversary dinner, the important note here is we made no mention of the restaurant what we were celebrating until halfway through our sit down. To say that the staff , starting from our server Tim, to the chefs, to the management had gone above our expectations would be a disservice to the level of care we received. Every course was done with such care (very easy to taste the quality and time spent in each dish), the chefs proceeded complimentary dishes between each course we ordered (I want to emphasize here this was done before their knowledge that we’re celebrating our anniversary). Tim was both welcoming, knowledgeable and a true gentleman with each interaction. We both left the restaurant stunned that this level of passion for service still exists in North America, much less Toronto. We can’t thank the team enough for providing us with such a memorable evening and we’ve raved about this restaurant to our friends ever since.

Great high-end steak house in downtown. Come here for a fantastic dining experience. They have multiple halal options. Tried the Creekstone Rib eye, Creekstone Striploin and Pen Tenderloin. My favorite was the striploin. The appetizers (Ceviche and Cesar salad) and dessert (orange blossom cake) were also excellent. Along with the potatoes, mushroom and corn sides. Service was impeccable.

Steak was great! Dining environment was nice. Service was okay. Green and herbs salad was light and fresh. House bread came with cheese on top and some syrup adding some sweetness which was nice. The bread was baked well. The duck bite was offered in house surprisingly but tasted good. The Steak was great! One of the best I have had so far in town. It had a bit more fat than usual ribeyes but the meat was very tasty, tender, flavorful. 3 types of sauce was on side. Smoked scallops were a bit disappointing. The dish was a bit salty. Smoked scallops with pastas which was not that great. Sautéed mushrooms are also great, rich and tasty. Cocktails are all good. Service was okay. A lady served my table but was not that friendly. Overall a super place for steak!

We had the tasting menu and the chef came out to discuss the courses and he even added a few options that typically were not included. Stand outs were obviously the steaks but all courses were exceptional. We also loved that during the knife selections the host gave us a detailed breakdown of where the knives were from and who made them. That was an interesting addition to the evening. I have already highly recommended The Butcher Chef to several close friends who have also had fantastic experiences as well! We will definitely be back again. We were also very into the moment so we only have a few pics of some of the deserts.
