I’ve been planning this evening for a long time. A dinner like this is something my wife and I can only do on the rarest occasion, maybe once every handful of years, so I really wanted it to be special for us. The Butcher Chef delivered. Unfortunately our experience at The Butcher Chef didn’t meet our expectations. The pacing of our tasting menu felt rushed and there was miscommunication with the kitchen over a preference vs allergy on our dessert course which resulted in a disappointing modified menu which wasn’t verified with us ahead of time. Steak was delicious however, and our server did apologize and attempt to rectify the shortcomings. Overall, not worth the price.
