We stopped by randomly while waiting for a table at Bar Isabel and were blown away.
For starters you feel like you were transported to Scotland when you walk in the door. This is by far the most authentic Scottish pub this side of the pond.
Then there is the service. Maggie might be one of the best waitresses I have ever had. On top of her engaging personality is her encyclopedic knowledge of Scotch. They have 100s of Scotch and a giant menu with descriptions but you don’t need it with her. Let her be your guide to touring Scotch together.
The drink menu is great in addition to the impressive Scotch collection.
The Scottish egg was outstanding and a must if you go.

I love this place. The food is great, atmosphere cozy, not overpriced, great service. The owner is usually there and she is lovely and welcoming. She clearly loved the place and works very hard at running her business well. Of course there's an exceptional selection of scotch.

We were here for the celebration of a dearly departed friend's life. The staff were quick, compassionate, & just all around lovely. My only complaint was that our food took nearly an hour to arrive (likely because we'd packed the place), but once it did turn up, it was super tasty!

I was really excited for the visit however it was a very mediocre experience. The server for our table had a very strange approach… there was a rush to order food and then when we mentioned we needed time she completely ignored us for what seemed like a long time even when we tried to get attention. Not a pleasant demeanour either. First time I’ve experienced a situation where the server refuses eye contact and just walks past. My food (steak pot pie) lacked salt Cocktails were good, the only positive in the evening. I think there is a bit of attitude that needs to be toned down so the customer can have a better experience.
