Great sandwiches place, this is not a fast food restaurant so the price is quite expensive (around 9-10$) and it take a while for them to make the sandwich. The food is amazing, they give a lot of meat. Highly recommended.

I work close to this establishment, but never tried their wares. Today I had the flank steak sandwich. Superb. One of the best sandwiches I've ever had. Perfectly portioned, not too heavy and the horseradish mayo was excellent. The fries were also good but were served lukewarm. Best to order ahead of time as they are not, I repeat NOT a fast food joint. I was lucky and managed to get my order in 15 minutes. The shop does not look like much but like many terrific spots in large cities(like N.Y. or Toronto) the "holes" in the wall places are typically excellent and this one is no exception. Can't wait to try their other sandwiches.

Great sandwiches - I love the Vietnamese pork, but fried chicken is awesome as is the fried green tomato. They offer a good variety and sandwiches are quite filling. All made to order so they do take time but are worth the wait. You can call ahead. Currently there is no indoor seating so you have to take and go.

Oh man, this is so fire! This is a CLASSIC place for U of T math students to come to, since it's so close to Bahen. And boy oh boy is it ever good. One time I ate here with my math friends, and we all had such big and good sandwiches that I had to sleep in UG (Under Grad) afterward because I was so full! I wish I could go back here, except I definitely wouldn't want to be a graduate student at U of T, so in the end, I'm glad I moved.

Oh my God, I can't believe I just had such an heavenly calamari sandwich size of my face. The calamari is so crunchy and taste sweet and savory with hint of sourness, the flavor is super balanced and complex. The Vietnamese pork sandwich is also good, but the calamari one is just astonishly amazing. The price is unbeatable, would totally go back to try other items on their menu.I followed the instruction to call beforehand and the pick-up was really smooth.

I used to come here a few times a year while a student at U of T and occupied at CAMH. Get the calamari, tomato (which tastes almost like rich tomato paste) and arugula sandwich with a creamy spread every time. So crunchy, so good. The fries are bomb too. The bread is soft, the squid is crunchy, the wich is packed with umami goodness. What's there not to like? I pay roughly $12-15 here. Enjoy!

Oh my god - this food is incredibly good. Fresh, delicious pork sandwich, perfectly seasoned. Incredible French fries. 10/10 lunch. Was not expecting this from the sign outside!

This place is hands down one of the best sandwich shops I've been to. I tried their a few of their sandwiches and none of them were bad. The fried chicken was definitely my favorite. And the fries are worth getting, I usually don't like bigger cut fries but the ones here are very addictive. The only downside is they are only open from 11am to 3pm on weekdays. I'm not sure if that is because of covid. Also if you are in a rush for your food, remember they are not a fast food joint so you'll have to wait, definitely worth it tho!

Enjoyed a great chicken sandwich - super plump and juicy. They make orders fresh from scratch so I did have to wait ~15 minutes. I recommend placing an order ahead through a phone call, before arriving. The meal was so great, I would definitely recommend. Truly a hidden Toronto gem!
