Finally tried the famous prime rib burger and it absolutely lived up to the hype — juicy, rich, and so satisfying. The Comrade has such a dark, cozy atmosphere that makes it perfect for a date night or intimate dinner. Definitely a Leslieville staple worth visiting.

I looooove when a restaurant is dark as hell; only being lit by a few candles. It makes for immaculate vibes. Great service. Best burger in the city.

Great shishito peppers, good beer, nice cocktails, good service. The menu could be improved by adding more items, but all in all good experience.

Our server Elizabeth was amazing. She was fun, attentive, helpful and overall a joy, on top of managing to run the entire floor by herself.

Great cocktails and a dope vibe. Come by for a drink.

They have a small menu of tapas – each dish we tried was fabulous. Standouts were the trout dip and the steak for sure. Their cocktail menu was also small, but I quite enjoyed their seasonal drinks. And their wine list short, but curated to be local and pair well with their rotating menu.

My friend and I passed by here on a Wednesday evening. Overall, the ambiance is really nice. Love the cozy dark vibe they have going on. We ordered the 3 cheese snack to share, and I got the staring at the sun drink. The 3 cheese was ok, don’t really think it was worth the $27. The presentation also could have been a bit better. Service was a bit slow in the beginning but started to get better at the end, just took a while for us to put in our order. Overall, I don’t think I’d go out of my way to return.

Took myself hear as a treat for steak tartare and a glass of wine. My sever was totally lovely. She sat me in the window so I could people watch and made it feel totally normal to eat out with a book.
The steak tartare was some of the best i've had. It has lemon in it and no egg yolk so it feels much lighter and brighter than some others. Skin contact wine paired perfectly.
The key lime pie was also perfect. Silky and smooth, instead of Jell-O like.
I wish I could remember my severs name, but thanks to her and the chefs for a great solo dinner!
