This is a bit of a late review but I discovered this place last summer and have since returned on multiple occasions. My first time here was with a group that just randomly picked a place with the expectation of average food here but we were absolutely wrong as the food here has yet to disappoint.
The food menu here is a not overly large with a limited number of options. So far I have tried the jerk chicken burger and the prime rib burger usually with a side of salad to make it feel like I am being health conscious. Both burgers were really juicy and delicious with my favourite being the jerk chicken burger which I have had several times. I really enjoyed the salad as well as it comes with a variety of ingredients which tasted fresh with a nice tangy dressing.
The service here was excellent as the staff here are friendly and attentive from the moment you arrive to after you have settled the bill.
In terms of ambience I was on the patio the times I came so do not know what it is like inside the restaurant. There are lots of seats on the patio and it is fairly well shaded so is a great spot on those beautiful summer days.
All in all a great place to enjoy a nice summer day with great vibes, great food, and a great location. Recommend giving it a shot if you are in the area looking for a place to relax.

Stopped in on a day visit to Toronto and I'm happy we came to The Corner Place. Our server was lovely and the restaurant was welcoming and cozy, LOVED the oldies playlist. The food was delicious (burger with fries, impossible burger and sweet potato fries). The fries is always our make or break and they were sooooo good.
We'll be back next time we are in the city!

This place (12/8/24) was completely packed but the food OMG! Try the Chicken Avocado Cheese Melt because it was everything delicious! Our server Kelsey ran 14 tables BY HER SELF and aside from waiting on our cosmos food came out fast, hot, and perfectly cooked! Check this one out 10/10.

Popped in here for a quick drink and was impressed with the menu! Nice variety of options. Great atmosphere and vibe - really cozy - could definitely dress up or pop in casually if you’re a regular in the neighbourhood. Kelsey was our server and she was super welcoming, friendly, and attentive. I got the bone broth onion soup and it tastes like what your Mom would simmer on the stove all day on a Sunday. Great experience and will def be back!

I come here on a regular basis for brunch. The space is really nice and has a beautiful patio in the summer that is dog friendly. The food is why I come, I absolutely love their brunch and the $5 mimosas really make it worth a stop. I had to put stars down for the service... As I said I come here every week almost and they never miss to forget an item on my order... Wether it is my coffee (happened twice) or my side salad ... The staff is always so apologetic but for this to happen constantly really questions their attention and if you should be tipping them ... A shame for a place with such an amazing menu.
