Found this place from an internet search for an inexpensive breakfast. The restaurant is nice looking (not tired, as mentioned in another review). I found all the plexiglass complete with little speaker hole separating the staff from the customers unsettling but chalked it up to it being due to covid. Despite that, they brought out our meals to us. The breakfast plates were excellent. I had eggs, and my dining partners had eggs, benny, and blueberry pancakes. Recommend. Very affordable.

Waffle was delicious and coffee was good!
The building is such an old one, with a nice atmosphere.

Easily one of my favorite breakfast spots in the area. The prices are decent, food is good, and they serve really great coffee. Staff is very friendly and I'm always happy to see them. If you have a friend staying at your place or need a good breakfast after a busy night, this is your place!

The pancakes I had here this morning were excellent! Ready very quickly - delightfully fluffy and not at all dry. The staff made me a fresh decaf coffee which was also excellent. Fantastic value and great food. Very much recommend if in the area

Online menu prices are 40% lower than the actual price. Portions are large and acceptable but my omelet was quite greasy. My spouse really enjoyed the blueberry pandcakes. I was charged for water.

I’ve walked by here so many times and have never had the opportunity to go inside…until today. I was next door at an ACTRA council meeting and was told that I was on my own for nourishment for the day, so naturally I prioritized my caffeine consumption.

Might be the lowest price oat latte I’ve had in a while. Can’t believe it was only $4.05. What a treat!

A lovely and affordable neighbourhood cafe / breakfast and lunch spot with indoor or outdoor seating to sit and have a bite or grab takeout. I ordered the egg and cheese on a croissant, which came with delicious home fries and a drink (paid about ~$12). So simple and good we went back multiple times. Would recommend!

The food is good, location excellent. The attitude of the Asian gentleman at the cash taking orders was not nice. He would punch in the order and then came back twice to say our choice was finished , when the name tags clearly had the croissant we needed in the display. His tone when talking was rude as well, as if he was doing a favour to us and not getting business. This is not healthy for any food place.
