We really wanted to enjoy the special event we attended, given it was $185 a ticket, but our seating was delayed by 45 minutes (though we did get some wine while we waited). In addition, guests from the first seating walked directly through the event when the sommelier was speaking to our seating, and a rowdy group at the bar made it impossible to hear the sommelier. I encourage the organizers to more closely consider such details for future events as these details detracted from our experience, and made our introduction to The Daughter not as good as it could have been. Not sure we will be back.
We absolutely love The Daughter - it is such a special place for us! Our server (Nicole) was such a fun time, super knowledgeable, and made the night so special for us!! The chef always kills it with the specials, and the wine selection is unbeatable. Big shout out to Misty too xoxoxo Amber and Emily
We love the interesting wine choices and the delicious shared plates. We appreciated the wait staff who are attentive and ensure that special dietary needs are met. The Daughter is a great place to bring friends and family.
Food was amazing and wine was delicious! Service was friendly and knowledgeable. Ambiance 10/10!
The Daughter is one of those places that instantly makes you want to stay longer than planned.
The wine list is thoughtful without being intimidating—natural-leaning, well curated, and clearly chosen by people who actually drink and love wine. Whether you’re in the mood for something crisp and easy or curious and a little wild, there’s always a bottle (or glass) that feels right. Bonus points for staff who listen instead of flexing—recommendations feel personal, not performative.
The vibe hits that rare sweet spot: cozy but cool, relaxed but intentional. It’s the kind of bar where a casual glass turns into a whole evening without you noticing. Great music, warm energy, and a room that feels lived-in rather than staged.
Food-wise, everything is designed to pair effortlessly with the wine—nothing overcomplicated, just really well executed.
If you’re looking for a wine bar that prioritizes pleasure, atmosphere, and genuine hospitality over hype, The Daughter absolutely delivers.
Would go back. Will go back. Already thinking about the next glass. 🍷

They have a nice selection of natural wines, a creative and thoughtful menu, and excellent service. The only drawback is the pricing, which is on the higher side and limits how often I can visit

Discovered and visited this place for the first time today and I have a feeling I’ll be back in no time. The food menu is very unique and excellent for pairing with any of the wines they have. And the wine selection is excellent. If you are a fan of rose or orange wine then you will feel like a kid in a candy store here. And our server Ainsley was very welcoming and really amazing at recommending a few items worth trying. Absolutely loved the radicchio salad. And there is also a nice patio outside.

when our group ordered a bottle of wine, the waitress poured too much wine into each of our glasses which looked unprofessional 😬 the wine resto should have a wine tasting menu (flight) as part of its concept; moreover, house wine (red & white) should be served in this concept. outside patio, whether permitting. avg food w/sporadic service. last call @ 9:30 pm 😴 clean/retro WC. low Q/P

Went there on a Saturday night with my partner. Surprisingly, the wine bar was pretty empty and lacked ambiance. The staff seemed quite bored, and it took several minutes before anyone greeted us or brought us the menu. Once a server was assigned to us, she gave us some excellent recommendations. We tried four wines by the glass and enjoyed all of them — the wine was definitely good.
It's a shame, though, because the bar is beautifully decorated and has a lot of potential. With the right atmosphere, it could be a fantastic spot, especially on a Saturday evening.

My coworkers recommended this spot for a cute lunch date. Took my girlfriend for dinner instead, what a mistake. Food was pretty good and so were the drinks (prices are a bit ridiculous) but our server was rude, inattentive, and clearly more interested in socializing with coworkers than serving guests. His arrogance and lack of basic courtesy made for an embarrassingly poor experience. Wouldn’t come back honestly, very disappointed.

Food was outstanding. Personable staff, however there were multiple delays in food being served. We did get 25% off our bill which was appreciated and they did let us know it wasn’t a typical experience as there was a large event happening at the same time as our dinner.

I travel all over the world and eat in fantastic restaurants. The Daughter is way up there with the best! The service is attentive, the wine list is varied and Lauren knows her wine!!! The food was equally good and on top of the list is the Corn custard followed by the short rib and the Agnolotti! In short everything was well prepared, tasty, well seasoned and to die for!! Thank you to the whole team!!
Managed to snag a table outside on the patio: a great spot to people watch on a warm Friday evening. Cocktails were unique and pretty! Obviously great selection of wines. The challah with ricotta and hot honey and the agnolotti were standouts. Perfect for a couple of gfriends catching up!
