Went for the ‘traditional English lunch', the service was not good, the Yorkshire puddings were a bit burnt and horseradish sauce lacked horseradish, but the rest of the food was excellent, beef, gravy, and potatoes were delicious so we will go back, just maybe choose lamb over beef.
The roast beef dish, with chicken liver pate to start, and sticky toffee pudding for dessert was first class!!
Amazing service nice crew and naman i think tall indian guy amazing service. Loved the overall atmosphere.
Incredible food and amazing service. I love the vibe inside ! We are from BC and loved the whole experience! Thank you !
The music was too loud and not appropriate for the type of restaurant. Hard rock is not the music that is pleasing to dine to. We were the only ones in the restaurant at the time.
Beautiful decor with different areas giving variety. food was very tasty, well cooked and presented (lamb with mint sauce). good wine by glass selection. Rather too loud for quiet conversation as sat next to bridal shower table of around 16 young ladies having a good time! Slow to get the check otherwise service was very good.
I would not recommend the Dorset.for their high tea. The room was very loud. The food was just OK. I would say the scones were the best part of the tray, while the sandwiches were dry and quite tasteless. Our server was pleasant but generally inattentive. Overall, a disappointment.
Had lovely afternoon tea at the Dorset. Service was excellent and the food was fabulously! A great experience!
The afternoon tea was nicely presented. I would like to suggest different tea pots for each guest when their choices of tea were different.
Very nice place with excellent food. Karel provided great,.friendly, and quick service. Won't hesitate to come back.

A traditional British menu with an updated contemporary flair which exceeded expectations. Ordered the Hugo spritz and the Cornish pasties which was very similar to an empanada, the roast beef lunch special and top it off with the sticky toffee pudding- total comfort food. Everything tasted fresh and very tasty plus it was beautifully plated which added to the entire sensory experience.
Great vibe. Drink service was good, but food service was terrible. Everything slow with 3 mains that were burgers and steak came out 10 min before the Waldorf salad. Salad was pushed off to the side of the plate and left us wondering if it had fallen and been shoved back in place.
I had a really good experience here last night, the server we had was super friendly and helpful as well. Everything was amazing <3
Tried their cottage pie, beet salad and pudding.
The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The food was great, with generous portions. It definitely made me want to try more British cuisine.
