We had a great meal here. Every dish we had was amazing, and the price was great as well. The menu was impressive and has something for everyone. We tried the eggplant, steak, and octopus. The service was on point, and the outside seating area was refreshing.

Pleasant staff, calm environment and good food. We enjoyed our meal here. Slightly limited menu but probably something for everyone here.

If you love Mediterranean food, this is the place to go. It happens to be in the area. The food was on point on every dish that we ordered. I highly recommend this restaurant and will return.

Soup - carrot and apple was hot, creamy and filling. Two people in the party had hamburgers; they were large and excellent and the fries were appreciated by everyone. Lamb chops were tasty. Salmon was not overcooked and had an excellent taste.

I give this restaurant five stars. I have eaten at Elm Tree approximately ten times - it is my go-to restaurant. Since It is a Mediterranean restaurant, most of the dishes and their ingredients are different than what the average restaurant goer is accustomed to. The flavours are very unique and complex and because of this, there are so many items on their menu I could easily recommend. The best appetizers, hands down, are the crispy brussel sprouts and the labneh and tomato spread. For mains there are so many good options to choose from - if you are in the market for red meat then the beef tenderloin or lamb shank are a good look; if you are looking for fish, the salmon or barramundi. They also make an amazing duck confit but it's not currently on the menu. Without a doubt, their best dessert is the pistachio mascarpone cream - it is unbelievable. Elm Tree changes it's menu throughout the year so some items may come and go. For the staples that stay on the menu year round, they change the sides, according to the season so you can order the same main you ordered in the summer, in the winter, and there will be a noticeable difference in the flavour profile. I highly recommend Elm Tree to everyone. Five stars.

My best hummus and Brussel sprouts ever. Chicken schnitzel was really good too. Israeli salad is a must try. I cannot wait to order in some more.

Good variety of really well made dishes. My family is made up of different "...xxxtarians" and everyone completely enjoyed their choices. We came back twice in a week late last year.

Went here for dinner last night and it was fantastic. I ordered the lobster risotto and it was probably one of the most memorable dishes I've ever had. Along with our waitress and other staff making us feel welcome and like home, the entire food from bread to entree to dessert was fantastic. This was also my first meal in Canada ever so its to say that the trip is off to a very great start. My boyfriend had the Gnocchi which was homemade and pillowy soft. 10/10 I would definitely recommend checking out this place.

Order the saffron cake! It's so unique and so tasty and never pretentious. It's like a very very like fruit cake but way better. The scallop is a bit expensive (only 3pcs for $20) but is so fresh and the veggies and sauce that come with it are so good. I ordered he Cornish hen and it's tender but nothing special with the chicken. It's the veggies that make it very good. My partner went with the lamb and it's not sweet like the Cornish hen. Overall, everything we ordered is good. By the glass Cabernet Sauvignon is smooth with some tanks and not acidic at all but no lengthy finish either.

What an incredible evening! The food, the service, the ambiance. It was all perfect. This gem is one that we will definitely be returning to again and again. Our server, Hannah, made the night. She was attentive, present, knowledgeable and friendly. And as always she proved it was a small world - love those moments. We ordered off of the Valentine's menu. We started with scallops and fig/ricotta salad. Best scallops and the peas were a pleasant surprise. The figs were incredible and the ricotta were like little clouds of heaven. The Cornish hen and Beef Tenderloin were amazing. Tender, juicy and sooo full of flavour. We shared the Goat's Milk Malabi which is a little like the base of a creme brûlée topped with fresh fruit and the Nutella Cheesecake with toffee drizzle and fresh fruit as well. The meal was one of the best we've had!! Thank you Elm Tree...we will be back.

Amazing!Amazing! I truly enjoyed my meal. Started with the fried cauliflower and continued with the strip steak. The steak was beautifully cooked, the arugula and mushroom risotto the perfect accompaniment. Then ended the evening with warm beignets! The staff so courteous and attentive. Will definitely be going back!

You will find the door a bit challenging to locate, but once you do, a world of flavour awaits you. Have the hummus, don't miss the kefdes and hang around for the Lamb shank or any of the fish dishes. Layers upon layers of spice and flavour - never being too spicy hot, always landing on the platform of flavour. The only thing holding back a 5 star was some nitpicking around service and table management. All in all - worth the price point based on the food alone.

I used to go there regularly. However, I feel like the quality has decreased. I especially don't like how they replaced the really good creamy bread dipping sauce with an average tomato dipping sauce. What a shame! Me and my partner loved it!
